Exodus 20

And God spake all these words, saying,

Тогава Бог изговори всички тези думи, като каза:

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Аз съм ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, който те изведох от египетската земя, от дома на робството.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Да нямаш други богове освен Мен!

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Да не си правиш кумир или каквото и да било подобие на нещо, което е на небето горе или което е на земята долу, или което е във водата под земята;

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

да не им се покланяш, нито да им служиш, защото Аз, ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, съм Бог ревнив, който въздавам вината на бащите върху синовете до третото и четвъртото поколение на онези, които Ме мразят,

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

а оказвам милост към хиляди поколения на онези, които Ме любят и спазват Моите заповеди.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Да не изговаряш напразно Името на ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, защото ГОСПОД няма да остави ненаказан онзи, който изговаря напразно Името Му.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Помни съботния ден, за да го освещаваш.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

Шест дни да работиш и да вършиш всичките си работи,

But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

а седмият ден е събота на ГОСПОДА, твоя Бог. Да не вършиш в него никаква работа, нито ти, нито синът ти, нито дъщеря ти, нито слугата ти, нито слугинята ти, нито добитъкът ти, нито чужденецът ти, който е вътре в портите ти;

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

защото в шест дни ГОСПОД направи небето и земята, морето и всичко, което е в тях, а на седмия ден си почина. Затова ГОСПОД благослови съботния ден и го освети.

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Почитай баща си и майка си, за да се продължат дните ти на земята, която ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, ти дава.

Thou shalt not kill.

Не убивай.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Не прелюбодействай.

Thou shalt not steal.

Не кради.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Не свидетелствай лъжливо против ближния си.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Не пожелавай къщата на ближния си, не пожелавай жената на ближния си, нито слугата му, нито слугинята му, нито вола му, нито магарето му, нито каквото и да било нещо, което е на ближния ти.

And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

И целият народ гледаше гърмовете, пламъците, гласа на тръбата и димящата планина; и като видяха, хората се разтрепериха и застанаха надалеч.

And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

И казаха на Мойсей: Ти ни говори и ние ще слушаме; а Бог да не ни говори, за да не умрем!

And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

Но Мойсей каза на народа: Не се бойте. Бог дойде, за да ви изпита и за да бъде страхът от Него пред лицето ви, за да не съгрешавате.

And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

Така народът стоеше надалеч. А Мойсей се приближи до мрака, където беше Бог.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

Тогава ГОСПОД каза на Мойсей: Така да кажеш на израилевите синове: Вие сами видяхте, че ви говорих от небето.

Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

Да не си правите нищо покрай Мен; сребърни богове и златни богове да не си правите.

An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.

От пръст да Ми издигаш олтар и да жертваш на него всеизгарянията си и примирителните си жертви, овцете си и говедата си. На всяко място, където ще правя да се помни Името Ми, ще идвам при теб и ще те благославям.

And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

Но ако Ми издигнеш каменен олтар, да не го съзидаш от дялани камъни, защото, ако вдигнеш на него сечиво, ще го оскверниш.

Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

И да не се качваш на олтара Ми по стъпала, за да не се открие голотата ти на него.
