Deuteronomy 12

These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

Това са наредбите и правилата, които трябва да спазвате и да вършите в земята, която ГОСПОД, Бог на бащите ти, ти дава да притежаваш през всичките дни, докато живеете на земята.

Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:

Напълно да унищожите всичките места, където народите, които ще завладеете, са служили на боговете си, по високите планини и по хълмовете, и под всяко зелено дърво.

And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

И да съборите жертвениците им, да строшите стълбовете им, да изгорите с огън ашерите им, да насечете изваяните образи на боговете им и да изличите имената им от онова място.

Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.

А на ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, да не изработвате такива неща,

But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:

а да отивате на мястото, което ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ще избере от всичките ви племена, за да постави там Името Си за Свое обиталище; и там да отиваш.

And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:

Там да донасяте всеизгарянията си, жертвите си, десятъците си, възвишаемите приноси на ръката си, обреците си, доброволните си приноси и първородните от едрия и дребния си добитък.

And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

И там да ядете пред ГОСПОДА, вашия Бог и да се веселите, вие и домовете ви, във всичко, което е предприела ръката ви, в което ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, те е благословил.

Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

Да не правите така, както ние правим тук днес — всеки каквото му се вижда добро —

For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.

защото още не сте дошли в почивката и в наследството, което ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, ти дава.

But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;

Но когато преминете Йордан и се населите в земята, която ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ви дава да наследите, и Той ви даде почивка от всичките врагове наоколо, така че да живеете безопасно,

Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:

тогава на мястото, което ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ще избере, за да настани там Името Си, там да донасяте всичко, което ви заповядвам: всеизгарянията си, жертвите си, десятъците си, възвишаемия принос на ръката си и всичките си избрани обреци, които обричате на ГОСПОДА.

And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.

И да се веселите пред ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, вие и синовете ви, и дъщерите ви, и слугите ви, и слугините ви, и левитът, който е вътре в портите ви, защото той няма нито дял, нито наследство с вас.

Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:

Внимавай на себе си да не принасяш всеизгарянията си на всяко място, което видиш,

But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

а на това място, което ГОСПОД ще избере в едно от племената ти, там да принасяш всеизгарянията си и там да вършиш всичко, което ти заповядвам.

Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.

Можеш обаче да колиш и да ядеш месо във всичките си жилища, според всяко желание на сърцето си, според благословението на ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, което ти е дал; и нечистият, и чистият могат да ядат от него, както от сърната, така и от елена.

Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.

Само кръвта да не ядете; да я изливате на земята като вода.

Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:

Не можеш да ядеш в жилището си десятъка от житото си и от новото си вино, и от маслото си, от първородните на едрия и дребния си добитък, от който и да било от обреците си, които си обрекъл, и от доброволните си приноси, и от възвишаемия принос на ръката си,

But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.

а пред ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, на мястото, което ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, ще избере, да ги ядеш, ти и синът ти, и дъщеря ти, и слугата ти, и слугинята ти, и левитът, който е вътре в портите ти; и да се веселиш пред ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, във всичко, което предприеме ръката ти.

Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.

Внимавай на себе си, да не изоставиш левита през всичките дни, докато живееш в земята си.

When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

Когато ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, разшири областта ти, както ти обеща, и ти кажеш: Ще ям месо! — понеже душата ти желае да яде месо; можеш да ядеш месо, според всяко желание на душата си.

If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

Ако мястото, което ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, ще избере, за да положи там Името Си, е много далеч от теб, тогава можеш да колиш от едрия и дребния си добитък, който ГОСПОД ти е дал, така както ти заповядах, и можеш да ядеш в жилищата, според всяко желание на душата си.

Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.

Както се яде сърна и елен, така можеш да ги ядеш; и нечистият, и чистият могат еднакво да ги ядат.

Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.

Само се пази да не ядеш кръвта, защото кръвта е животът; да не ядеш живота с месото.

Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.

Да не я ядеш; да я изливаш на земята като вода.

Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.

Да не я ядеш, за да бъде добре на теб и на синовете ти след теб, когато вършиш онова, което е право в очите на ГОСПОДА.

Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose:

Но светите неща, които имаш, и обреците си да вземаш и да отиваш на мястото, което ГОСПОД ще избере.

And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.

И да принасяш всеизгарянията си, месото и кръвта, върху олтара на ГОСПОДА, своя Бог; и кръвта на жертвите ти да се излива върху олтара на ГОСПОДА, твоя Бог, а месото можеш да ядеш.

Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.

Внимавай и слушай всички тези думи, които ти заповядвам, за да бъде добре на теб и на синовете ти след теб до века, когато вършиш онова, което е добро и право в очите на ГОСПОДА, твоя Бог.

When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;

Когато ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, отсече пред теб народите, които отиваш да завладееш, и ти ги завладееш и се заселиш в земята им,

Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

внимавай на себе си да не се впримчиш след тях, след като бъдат изтребени пред теб, и да не разпитваш за боговете им, като казваш: Как служат тези народи на боговете си, за да направя и аз така?

Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

Да не постъпваш така спрямо ГОСПОДА, своя Бог; защото те са вършили за боговете си всяка мерзост, която ГОСПОД мрази; понеже дори синовете си и дъщерите си изгарят с огън за боговете си.

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Всичко, което ви заповядам, да спазвате и да вършите; да не прибавяш към него и да не отнемаш от него.
