Deuteronomy 11

Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

Затова да любиш ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, и да пазиш винаги заповяданото от Него, наредбите Му, правилата Му и заповедите Му.

And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,

И знайте днес — защото не говоря на синовете ви, които не знаят и не са видели наказанието от ГОСПОДА, вашия Бог, величието Му, силната Му ръка и издигнатата Му мишца;

And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;

знаменията Му и делата Му, които извърши в Египет на фараона, египетския цар и на цялата му земя;

And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;

това, което направи на египетската войска, на конете й и на колесниците й, как направи да ги погълнат водите на Червено море, докато ви преследваха, и ГОСПОД ги унищожи и до днес;

And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place;

какво направи за вас в пустинята, докато дойдохте на това място;

And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:

и какво направи на Датан и Авирон, синовете на Елиав, сина на Рувим, как земята отвори устата си и ги погълна с домовете им, шатрите им и всичко живо, което ги следваше, сред целия Израил;

But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

но вашите очи видяха цялото велико дело на ГОСПОДА, което Той извърши —

Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;

затова да спазвате целия закон, който ви заповядвам днес, за да бъдете силни и да влезете, и да завладеете земята, в която преминавате, за да я притежавате,

And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

и за да продължите дните си в земята, за която ГОСПОД се закле на бащите ви да я даде на тях и на тяхното потомство, земя, в която текат мляко и мед.

For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:

Защото земята, в която влизаш, за да я притежаваш, не е като египетската земя, от която излязохте, където ти сееше семето си и го напояваше с крака си като зеленчукова градина.

But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:

А земята, в която преминавате, за да я притежавате, е земя на хълмове и долини, която пие вода от дъжда на небето;

A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

земя, за която ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, се грижи; очите на ГОСПОДА, твоя Бог, са винаги върху нея, от началото на годината до края на годината.

And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

И ако слушате усърдно заповедите Ми, които днес ви заповядвам — да любите ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, и да Му служите с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа —

That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

тогава Аз ще давам дъжда на земята ви на времето му, и ранния, и късния дъжд, за да събираш житото си и новото си вино, и маслото си;

And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.

и ще давам трева на полетата ти за добитъка ти; и ще ядеш, и ще се наситиш.

Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

Внимавайте на себе си, да не би да се подмами сърцето ви и да се отклоните, и да служите на други богове, и да им се покланяте;

And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.

и да се запали против вас гневът на ГОСПОДА и Той да затвори небето, така че да няма дъжд и земята да не дава плода си, и вие бързо да бъдете изтребени от добрата земя, която ГОСПОД ви дава.

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

Затова да вложите тези мои думи в сърцето си и в душата си и да ги вържете като знак на ръката си, и да бъдат като превръзки над очите ви.

And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Да учите на тях синовете си, като говорите за тях — когато седиш в къщата си, когато ходиш по пътя, когато лягаш и когато ставаш.

And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:

И да ги написваш на стълбовете на вратите на къщата си и на портите си,

That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

за да се умножат дните ви и дните на синовете ви в земята, за която ГОСПОД се закле на бащите ви да им я даде, като дните на небето над земята.

For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

Защото, ако усърдно спазвате целия този закон, който ви заповядвам да изпълнявате — да любите ГОСПОДА, вашия Бог, да ходите във всичките Му пътища и да се привързвате към Него —

Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.

тогава ГОСПОД ще изгони отпред вас всички тези народи и вие ще завладеете народи по-големи и по-силни от вас.

Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.

Всяко място, на което стъпи стъпалото на крака ви, ще бъде ваше: границата ви ще бъде от пустинята и Ливан, и от реката, реката Ефрат, чак до западното море.

There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.

Никой няма да може да устои пред вас; ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ще всява страха от вас и ужаса от вас по цялата земя, на която стъпвате, така както ви говори.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

Ето, днес аз поставям пред вас благословение и проклятие:

A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

благословението, ако слушате заповедите на ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, които днес ви заповядвам;

And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

и проклятието, ако не слушате заповедите на ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, а се отклонявате от пътя, който днес ви заповядвам, за да следвате други богове, които не сте познавали.

And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

И когато ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, те заведе в земята, в която влизаш, за да я завладееш, тогава ще положиш благословението на хълма Гаризим, а проклятието — на хълма Гевал.

Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?

Те не са ли оттатък Йордан, по пътя към залез слънце, в земята на ханаанците, които живеят в равнината срещу Галгал, при дъбоветЕ Море?

For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

Защото вие ще преминете Йордан, за да влезете да завладеете земята, която ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ви дава; и ще я завладеете, и ще живеете в нея.

And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

И да внимавате да вършите всичките наредби и правила, които днес поставям пред вас!
