Psalms 82

परमेश्वर देवों की सभा के बीच विराजता है। उन देवों की सभा का परमेश्वर न्यायाधीश है।

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

परमेश्वर कहता है, “कब तक तुम लोग अन्यायपूर्ण न्याय करोगे? कब तक तुम लोग दुराचारी लोगों को यूँ ही बिना दण्ड दिए छोड़ते रहोगे?”

How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

अनाथों और दीन लोगों की रक्षा कर, जिन्हें उचित व्यवहार नहीं मिलता तू उनके अधिकारों कि रक्षा कर।

Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

दीन और असहाय जन की रक्षा कर। दुष्टों के चंगुल से उनको बचा ले।

Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

“इस्राएल के लोग नहीं जानते क्या कुछ घट रहा है। वे समझते नहीं! वे जानते नहीं वे क्या कर रहे हैं। उनका जगत उनके चारों ओर गिर रहा है।”

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

मैंने (परमेश्वर) कहा, “तुम लोग ईश्वर हो, तुम परम परमेश्वर के पुत्र हो।

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

किन्तु तुम भी वैसे ही मर जाओगे जैसे निश्चय ही सब लोग मर जाते हैं। तुम वैसे मरोगे जैसे अन्य नेता मर जाते हैं।”

But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

हे परमेश्वर, खड़ा हो! तू न्यायाधीश बन जा! हे परमेश्वर, तू सारे ही राष्ट्रों का नेता बन जा!

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
