Psalms 6

हे यहोवा, तू मुझ पर क्रोधित होकर मेरा सुधार मत कर। मुझ पर कुपित मत हो और मुझे दण्ड मत दे।

O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

हे यहोवा, मुझ पर दया कर। मै रोगी और दुर्बल हूँ। मेरे रोगों को हर ले। मेरी हड्डियाँ काँप—काँप उठती हैं।

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

मेरी समूची देह थर—थर काँप रही है। हे यहोवा, मेरा भारी दु:ख तू कब तक रखेगा।

My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

हे यहोवा, मुझ को फिर से बलवान कर। तू महा दयावाने है मेरी रक्षा कर।

Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

मरे हुए लोग तुझे अपनी कब्रों के बीच याद नहीं करते हैं। मृत्यु के देश में वे तेरी प्रशंसा नहीं करते हैं। अतःमुझको चँगा कर।

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

हे यहोवा, सारी रात मैं तुझको पुकारता रहता हूँ। मेरा बिछौना मेरे आँसुओं से भीग गया है। मेरे बिछौने से आँसु टपक रहे हैं। तेरे लिये रोते हुए मैं क्षीण हो गया हूँ।

I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

मेरे शत्रुओं ने मुझे बहुतेरे दु:ख दिये। इसने मुझे शोकाकुल और बहुत दु:खी कर डाला और अब मेरी आँखें रोने बिलखने से थकी हारी, दुर्बल हैं।

Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

अरे ओ दुर्जनों, तुम मुझ से दूर हटो। क्योंकि यहोवा ने मुझे रोते हुए सुन लिया है।

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

मेरी विनती यहोवा के कान तक पहुँच चुकी है और मेरी प्रार्थनाओं को यहोवा ने सुनकर उत्तर दे दिया है।

The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

मेरे सभी शत्रु व्याकुल और आशाहीन होंगे। कुछ अचानक ही घटित होगा और वे सभी लज्जित होंगे। वे मुझको छोड़ कर लौट जायेंगे।

Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
