Psalms 47

Zborovođi. Sinova Korahovih. Psalam.

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

Narodi svi, plješćite rukama, kličite Bogu glasom radosnim.

For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

Jer Jahve je to - svevišnji, strašan, kralj velik nad zemljom svom.

He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

Narode je nama podložio, pogane stavio pod noge naše,

He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

baštinu nam odabrao - ponos Jakova, svoga ljubimca.

God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

Uzlazi Bog uz klicanje, Jahve uza zvuke trublje.

Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

Pjevajte Bogu, pjevajte, pjevajte kralju našemu, pjevajte!

For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

Jer on je kralj nad zemljom svom, pjevajte Bogu, pjevači vrsni!

God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

Bog kraljuje nad narodima, stoluje Bog na svetom prijestolju. [ (Psalms 47:10) Prvaci se pribiru poganski k narodu Boga Abrahamova. Božji su svi vlastodršci zemlje, nad svima on je uzvišen. ]

The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
