Daniel 3

Цар Навуходоносор направи образ от злато; височината му беше шестдесет лакътя и ширината му — шест лакътя. Изправи го в равнината Дура, във вавилонската област.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

И цар Навуходоносор изпрати да съберат сатрапите, наместниците, областните управители, съдиите, съкровищниците, съветниците, законоведците и всичките началници на областите да дойдат на посвещението на образа, който цар Навуходоносор беше изправил.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Тогава сатрапите, наместниците, областните управители, съдиите, съкровищниците, съветниците, законоведците и всичките началници на областите се събраха на посвещението на образа, който цар Навуходоносор беше изправил; и застанаха пред образа, който Навуходоносор беше изправил.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

И глашатаят извика силно: На вас се заповядва, народи, племена и езици:

Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Когато чуете звука на тръбата, на свирката, на арфата, на лирата, на псалтира, на гайдата и на всякакъв вид музика, да паднете и да се поклоните на златния образ, който цар Навуходоносор е изправил!

That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

А който не падне да се поклони, в същия час ще бъде хвърлен сред пламтящата огнена пещ.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Затова, когато всичките народи чуеха звука на тръбата, на свирката, на арфата, на лирата, на псалтира и на всякакъв вид музика, всичките народи, племена и езици падаха и се покланяха на златния образ, който цар Навуходоносор беше изправил.

Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Заради това някои халдейци се приближиха при царя и издадоха юдеите.

Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Те проговориха и казаха на цар Навуходоносор: Царю, да си жив до века!

They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

Ти царю, си издал указ: всеки човек, който чуе звука на тръбата, на свирката, на арфата, на лирата, на псалтира, на гайдата и на всякакъв вид музика, да падне и да се поклони на златния образ;

Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

а който не падне да се поклони, да бъде хвърлен сред пламтящата огнена пещ.

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Има някои юдеи, които ти си поставил над управата на вавилонската област — Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго; тези мъже, царю, не те зачитат; на боговете ти не служат и на златния образ, който си изправил, не се покланят.

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Тогава Навуходоносор с гняв и ярост заповяда да докарат Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго. Тогава докараха тези мъже пред царя.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Навуходоносор проговори и им каза: Нарочно ли е, Седрахе, Мисахе и Авденаго, че не служите на моя бог и не се покланяте на златния образ, който съм изправил?

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Сега, когато чуете звука на тръбата, на свирката, на арфата, на лирата, на псалтира, на гайдата и на всякакъв вид музика, ако сте готови да паднете и се поклоните на образа, който съм направил, добре! Но ако не се поклоните, в същия час ще бъдете хвърлени сред пламтящата огнена пещ — и кой е онзи бог, който ще ви отърве от ръцете ми?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго отговориха и казаха на цар Навуходоносор: Не ни е нужно да ти отговаряме за това нещо.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Ако е така, нашият Бог, на когото ние служим, може да ни отърве от пламтящата огнена пещ; и от твоите ръце, царю, ще ни избави.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

Но и ако не, пак знай, царю, че на боговете ти няма да служим и на златния образ, който си изправил, няма да се покланяме.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Тогава Навуходоносор се изпълни с ярост и изгледът на лицето му се измени против Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго. Той проговори и заповяда да нагорещят пещта седем пъти повече, отколкото обикновено се нагорещяваше.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

И на някои силни мъже от войската си заповяда да вържат Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго и да ги хвърлят в пламтящата огнена пещ.

And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Тогава тези мъже бяха вързани с долните и горните си дрехи, с тюрбаните и дрехите си, и бяха хвърлени сред пламтящата огнена пещ.

Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

А понеже заповедта на царя беше строга и пещта беше изключително нагорещена, огненият пламък уби онези мъже, които вдигнаха Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго.

Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego.

А тези трима мъже, Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго, паднаха вързани сред пламтящата огнена пещ.

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Тогава цар Навуходоносор се ужаси и стана бързо, проговори и каза на съветниците си: Не хвърлихме ли трима мъже вързани сред огъня? Те отговориха и казаха на царя: Вярно е, царю.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Той отговори и каза: Ето, виждам четирима мъже развързани да ходят сред огъня и нямат никаква повреда! И по вида си четвъртият прилича на Божи Син.

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Тогава Навуходоносор се приближи до вратата на пламтящата огнена пещ, проговори и каза: Седрахе, Мисахе и Авденаго, слуги на Всевишния Бог, излезте и елате тук! Тогава Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго излязоха отсред огъня.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

И сатрапите, наместниците, областните управители и царските съветници се събраха и видяха тези мъже — че огънят не беше имал власт над телата им;. Косъм от главата им не беше изгорял и долните им дрехи не се бяха изменили, и даже миризма на огън не беше преминала на тях.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Навуходоносор проговори и каза: Благословен да бъде Бог на Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго, който изпрати Ангела Си и избави слугите Си, които се уповаха на Него и престъпиха думата на царя, и предадоха телата си, за да не служат и да не се покланят на друг бог, освен на своя Бог.

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Затова издавам указ: Който и да било от всеки народ, племе и език, който би казал зло против Бога на Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго, да се разсече на части и къщата му да се обърне на бунище; защото няма друг бог, който може да избави така.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Тогава царят повиши Седрах, Мисах и Авденаго във вавилонската област.

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, in the province of Babylon.
