Psalms 75

Для дириґетна хору. „Не вигуби!" Псалом Асафів. Пісня.

Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

Прославляємо, Боже, Тебе, прославляєм, бо близьке Твоє Ймення! Оповідають про чуда Твої.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

Коли прийде година означена, то Я буду судити справедливо.

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

Розтопилась земля, і всі її мешканці, та стовпи її зміцнюю Я. Села.

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

Я сказав до лихих: Не шалійте, а безбожним: Не підіймайте ви рога!

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

Не підіймайте ви рога свого догори, не говоріть твердошийно,

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

бо не від сходу, і не від заходу, і не від пустині надійде повищення,

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

але судить Бог: того Він понижує, а того повищує,

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

бо чаша в Господній руці, а шумливе вино повне мішаного, і наливає Він з нього, усі ж беззаконні землі виссуть та вип'ють лиш дріжджі її!

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

А я буду звіщати навіки, співатиму Богові Якова, відрубаю всі роги безбожних, роги праведного піднесуться!

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
