Job 25

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

پھر بِلدد سوخی نے جواب دے کر کہا،

Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

”اللہ کی حکومت دہشت ناک ہے۔ وہی اپنی بلندیوں پر سلامتی قائم رکھتا ہے۔

Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

کیا کوئی اُس کے دستوں کی تعداد گن سکتا ہے؟ اُس کا نور کس پر نہیں چمکتا؟

How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

تو پھر انسان اللہ کے سامنے کس طرح راست باز ٹھہر سکتا ہے؟ جو عورت سے پیدا ہوا وہ کس طرح پاک صاف ثابت ہو سکتا ہے؟

Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

اُس کی نظر میں نہ چاند پُرنور ہے، نہ ستارے پاک ہیں۔

How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

تو پھر انسان کس طرح پاک ٹھہر سکتا ہے جو کیڑا ہی ہے؟ آدم زاد تو مکوڑا ہی ہے۔“
