Psalms 99

The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

L’Eterno regna; tremino i popoli; egli siede sui cherubini, la terra sia scossa.

The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

L’Eterno è grande in Sion, ed eccelso sopra tutti i popoli.

Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

Lodino essi il tuo nome grande e tremendo. Egli è santo.

The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

Lodino la forza del Re che ama la giustizia; sei tu che hai fondato il diritto, che hai esercitato in Giacobbe il giudicio e la giustizia.

Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

Esaltate l’Eterno, l’Iddio nostro, e prostratevi dinanzi allo sgabello de’ suoi piedi. Egli è santo.

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

Mosè ed Aaronne fra i suoi sacerdoti, e Samuele fra quelli che invocavano il suo nome, invocaron l’Eterno, ed egli rispose loro.

He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

Parlò loro dalla colonna della nuvola; essi osservarono le sue testimonianze e gli statuti che diede loro.

Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

Tu li esaudisti, o Eterno, Iddio nostro! Fosti per loro un Dio perdonatore, benché tu punissi le loro male azioni.

Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

Esaltate l’Eterno, l’Iddio nostro, e adorate sul monte della sua santità; perché l’Eterno, l’Iddio nostro, è santo.
