Psalms 112

Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

यहोवा की प्रशंसा करो! ऐसा व्यक्ति जो यहोवा से डरता है। और उसका आदर करता है। वह अति प्रसन्न रहेगा। परमेश्वर के आदेश ऐसे व्यक्ति को भाते हैं।

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

धरती पर ऐसे व्यक्ति की संतानें महान होंगी। अच्छे व्यक्तियों कि संताने सचमुच धन्य होंगी।

Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

ऐसे व्यक्ति का घराना बहुत धनवान होगा और उसकी धार्मिकता सदा सदा बनी रहेगी।

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

सज्जनों के लिये परमेश्वर ऐसा होता है जैसे अंधेरे में चमकता प्रकाश हो। परमेश्वर खरा है, और करूणापूर्ण है और दया से भरा है।

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

मनुष्य को अच्छा है कि वह दयालु और उदार हो। मनुष्य को यह उत्तम है कि वह अपने व्यापार में खरा रहे।

Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

ऐसा व्यक्ति का पतन कभी नहीं होगा। एक अच्छे व्यक्ति को सदा याद किया जायेगा।

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

सज्जन को विपद से डरने की जरूरत नहीं। ऐसा व्यक्ति यहोवा के भरोसे है आश्वस्त रहता है।

His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

ऐसा व्यक्ति आश्वस्त रहता है। वह भयभीत नहीं होगा। वह अपने शत्रुओं को हरा देगा।

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

ऐसा व्यक्ति दीन जनों को मुक्त दान देता है। उसके पुण्य कर्म जिन्हें वह करता रहता है वह सदा सदा बने रहेंगे।

The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

कुटिल जन उसको देखेंगे और कुपित होंगे। वे क्रोध में अपने दाँतों को पीसेंगे और फिर लुप्त हो जायेंगे। दुष्ट लोग उसको कभी नहीं पायेंगे जिसे वह सब से अधिक पाना चाहते हैं।
