Psalms 126

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

Als Jehova die Gefangenen Zions zurückführte, waren wir wie Träumende.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.

Da ward unser Mund voll Lachens, und unsere Zunge voll Jubels; da sagte man unter den Nationen: Jehova hat Großes an ihnen getan!

The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Jehova hat Großes an uns getan: wir waren fröhlich!

Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.

Führe unsere Gefangenen zurück, Jehova, gleich Bächen im Mittagslande!

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Die mit Tränen säen, werden mit Jubel ernten.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Er geht weinend hin, tragend den Samen zum Säen; er kommt heim mit Jubel, tragend seine Garben.
