II Chronicles 3

Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Ja Salomo rupesi rakentamaan Herran huonetta Jerusalemissa, Morian vuorelle, joka Davidille hänen isällensä neuvottu oli, Davidin paikkaan, jonka hän oli valmistanut Ornanin Jebusilaisen luvaan.

And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

Ja hän rupesi rakentamaan toisena kuukautena, toisena päivänä, neljäntenä valtakuntansa vuonna.

Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

Ja Salomo laski perustuksen, Jumalan huonetta rakentaa, ensisti pituudelle kuusikymmentä kyynärää, ja leveydelle kaksikymmentä kyynärää;

And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

Mutta esihuoneen pituudelta huoneen leveyden jälkeen kaksikymmentä kyynärää, ja korkeus oli sata ja kaksikymmentä kyynärää; ja hän silasi sen sisältä puhtaalla kullalla.

And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.

Mutta suuren huoneen peitti hän hongalla ja silasi sen päältä parhaalla kullalla, ja teki siihen päälle palmuin ja käädyin kaltaiset työt,

And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.

Ja peitti huoneen kalliilla kivillä kaunistukseksi; ja kulta oli Parvaimin kulta.

He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.

Ja hän silasi huoneen kaaret, pihtipielet, seinät ja ovet kullalla, ja antoi leikata Kerubimeja seiniin.

And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.

Teki hän myös kaikkein pyhimmän huoneen, jonka pituus oli kaksikymmentä kyynärää, huoneen leveyden jälkeen, ja hänen leveytensä oli kaksikymmentä kyynärää, ja silasi sen parhaalla kullalla, kuudellasadalla leiviskällä.

And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.

Niin myös nauloihin antoi hän viisikymmentä sikliä kultaa, painon jälkeen; ja silasi salit kullalla.

And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.

Niin teki hän myös kaikkein pyhimpään huoneeseen kaksi Kerubimia liikkeillä olevalla teolla; ja he silasivat ne kullalla.

And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

Ja pituus oli Kerubimein siivillä kaksikymmentä kyynärää; niin että yksi siipi oli viisi kyynärää ja ulottui huoneen seinään, ja toinen siipi oli myös viisi kyynärää ja ulottui hamaan toisen Kerubimin siipeen.

And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.

Niin myös oli toisen Kerubimin siipi viisi kyynärää pitkä ja ulottui huoneen seinään, ja toinen siipi myös oli viisi kyynärää pitkä ja riippui toisessa Kerubimin siivessä;

The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.

Niin että nämät Kerubimein siivet olivat levitettyinä kaksikymmentä kyynärää leveydelle; ja ne seisoivat jalkainsa päällä, ja heidän kasvonsa olivat käännetyt huoneesen päin.

And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.

Hän teki myös esiripun sinisistä, purpuraisista ja tulipunaisista villoista ja kalliista liinasta, ja teki Kerubimit siihen päälle.

Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.

Ja hän teki huoneen eteen kaksi patsasta, viisineljättäkymmentä kyynärää korkiaksi, ja niiden päälle kruunun viisi kyynärää korkian,

And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.

Ja käädyin kaltaiset työt kuoriin, ja sovitti ne patsasten päälle, ja teki sata granatin omenaa, ja asetti ne käädytekoin päälle.

And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

Ja pystytti patsaat templin eteen, yhden oikialle ja toisen vasemmalle puolelle, ja kutsui sen nimen, joka oikialla puolella oli, Jakin, ja sen nimen, joka vasemmalla puolella oli, Boas.
