Isaiah 13

The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Издигнете знаме на гола планина, извисете глас към тях, помахайте с ръка, за да влязат в портите на благородните.

I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

Аз заповядах на осветените Си, повиках също и силните Си, за да изпълнят гнева Ми — онези, които се радват на Моето величие.

The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

Глас на множество по планините като на голям народ! Метежен шум от царствата на събраните народи! ГОСПОД на Войнствата преглежда войска за бой.

They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

Те идват от далечна земя, от небесните краища — ГОСПОД и оръдията на негодуването Му, за да погуби цялата земя.

Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Ридайте, защото Денят на ГОСПОДА е близо, идва като опустошение от Всемогъщия.

Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

Затова всички ръце ще отслабнат и всяко човешко сърце ще се стопи.

And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

Те ще се ужасят, болки и скърби ще ги обземат, ще се мъчат като раждаща жена. Смаяни ще се гледат един друг, лицата им ще пламтят.

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Ето, Денят на ГОСПОДА идва жесток, с ярост и пламенен гняв, за да направи земята пуста и да изтреби от нея грешниците й,

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

защото небесните звезди и съзвездия няма да излъчват светлината си, слънцето ще помътнее при изгрева си и луната няма да свети със сиянието си.

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Ще накажа света за злината и безбожните — за беззаконието им; ще сложа край на големеенето на гордите и ще смиря надменността на насилниците.

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

Ще направя смъртния да е по-скъп от чистото злато, и човека — от офирското злато.

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Затова ще разклатя небесата и земята ще се потресе от мястото си при яростта на ГОСПОДА на Войнствата, в деня на пламенния Му гняв.

And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

И ще бъде както гонена сърна и овце, които никой не събира — ще се върнат всеки при народа си и ще бягат всеки в земята си.

Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

Всеки, който се намери, ще бъде пронизан и всеки заловен ще падне от меч.

Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

И децата им ще бъдат смазани пред очите им, къщите им ще бъдат разграбени и жените им — изнасилвани.

Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

Ето, ще подбудя против тях мидяните, които не зачитат среброто и не се наслаждават на златото.

Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

С лъковете си ще смажат юношите и няма да се смилят за плода на утробата, окото им няма да пощади децата.

And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

И с Вавилон, славата на царствата, гордостта на величието на халдейците, ще стане както когато Бог разори Содом и Гомора:

It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

няма да се насели навеки и няма да бъде обитаван за всички поколения. И араби няма да разпъват шатри там и овчари няма да почиват там.

But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

Но пустинни зверове ще почиват там, къщите им ще бъдат пълни с виещи животни, камилоптици ще живеят там и космати демони ще подскачат там;

And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

хиени ще вият в дворците им и чакали — в увеселителните дворци. И времето му скоро ще дойде, дните му няма да се продължат.
