Hosea 7

When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

Когато изцелявам Израил, се откриват беззаконието на Ефрем и злините на Самария; защото вършат измама, крадецът влиза, а разбойници грабят вън.

And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

Не си казват в сърцето си, че Аз помня всичките им злини. А сега делата им ги обиколиха, пред лицето Ми са.

They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

Със злината си радват царя и с лъжите си — първенците.

They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.

Те всички са прелюбодейци; като пещ, запалена от хлебаря — когато замеси тестото, той спира да подклажда, докато то втаса.

In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

В деня на нашия цар първенците се разболяха от жарта на виното и то простря ръката си с присмивачите.

For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

Защото дебнейки са направили сърцата си като пещ — хлебарят им спи цяла нощ, а на сутринта тя гори като пламтящ огън.

They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.

Всички те се нажежиха като пещ и пояждат съдиите си. Всичките им царе паднаха, няма между тях никой да Ме призовава.

Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

Ефрем се смеси с народите, Ефрем е като необърната пита.

Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.

Чужденци поядоха силата му, а той не знае; и бели коси има тук-там, а той не знае.

And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.

И гордостта на Израил свидетелства в лицето му, но не се върнаха при ГОСПОДА, своя БОГ, и не Го потърсиха, при всичко това.

Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

И Ефрем е като глупав гълъб, който няма разум; викат Египет, отиват в Асирия.

When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.

Когато отидат, ще разпростра мрежата Си върху тях, ще ги сваля като небесните птици, ще ги накажа, както беше известено на събранието им.

Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

Горко им, защото побягнаха от Мен! Погибел за тях, защото престъпиха против Мен! И Аз исках да ги изкупя, а те говориха лъжи против Мен.

And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.

И не викат към Мен от сърце, когато ридаят на леглата си. Събират се за жито и вино, а от Мен отстъпват.

Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.

А Аз, Аз учех и укрепвах мишците им, а те замислят зло против Мен.

They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

Връщат се, но не при Всевишния; станаха като неверен лък. Първенците им от меч ще паднат заради яростта на езика си; това ще бъде подигравката им в египетската земя.
