Hosea 11

When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Когато Израил беше млад, го възлюбих и от Египет повиках сина Си.

As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.

Колкото пъти ги виках, си отиваха от Мен, жертваха на ваалимите и кадяха на изваяните идоли.

I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.

И Аз научих Ефрем да ходи, като го хващах за ръцете му; но не познаха, че Аз ги изцелявах.

I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.

С човешки въжета ги привлякох, с връзки на любов; и им бях като онези, които вдигат ярема от челюстите им и кротко им давах храна.

He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.

Той няма да се върне в египетската земя, а асириецът ще му бъде цар, защото отказаха да се обърнат.

And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.

Меч ще кръжи в градовете му, ще разбие резетата му и ще пояжда заради замислите им.

And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.

Народът Ми е замесен в отстъпление от Мен; и да ги викат към Всевишния, никой от тях не се надига.

How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

Как да те предам, Ефреме, да те оставя, Израилю? Как да те направя като Адма, да те поставя като Цевоим? Сърцето Ми се преобърна в Мен, цялото Ми милосърдие се събуди.

I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.

Няма да изпълня пламтящия Си гняв, няма да изтребя отново Ефрем; защото Аз съм Бог, а не човек, Светият сред теб, и няма да дойда с ярост.

They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.

Ще ходят след ГОСПОДА; Той ще реве като лъв, и когато Той изреве, синовете ще идват треперейки от морето.

They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.

Ще идват треперейки от Египет, като птица и като гълъб от асирийската земя, и ще ги заселя в къщите им, заявява ГОСПОД.

Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.

Ефрем Ме обкръжава с лъжи и израилевият дом — с измама, а Юда още се колебае спрямо Бога, спрямо Светия, който е верен.
