Psalms 98

Salmo. Cantate all’Eterno un cantico nuovo, perch’egli ha compiuto maraviglie; la sua destra e il braccio suo santo l’hanno reso vittorioso.

O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

L’Eterno ha fatto conoscere la sua salvezza, ha manifestato la sua giustizia nel cospetto delle nazioni.

The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

Si è ricordato della sua bontà e della sua fedeltà verso la casa d’Israele; tutte le estremità della terra han veduto la salvezza del nostro Dio.

He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Acclamate l’Eterno, abitanti di tutta la terra, date in canti di giubilo e salmeggiate,

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

salmeggiate all’Eterno con la cetra, con la cetra e la voce del canto.

Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

Con trombe e col suono del corno, fate acclamazioni al Re, all’Eterno.

With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

Risuoni il mare e tutto ciò ch’è in esso; il mondo ed i suoi abitanti.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

I fiumi battan le mani, i monti cantino assieme per gioia, dinanzi all’Eterno. Poich’egli viene a giudicare la terra;

Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

egli giudicherà il mondo con giustizia, e i popoli con rettitudine.

Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
