Psalms 95

आओ हम यहोवा के गुण गाएं! आओ हम उस चट्टान का जय जयकार करें जो हमारी रक्षा करता है।

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

आओ हम यहोवा के लिये धन्यवाद के गीत गाएं। आओ हम उसके प्रशंसा के गीत आनन्दपूर्वक गायें।

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

क्यों? क्योंकि यहोवा महान परमेश्वर है। वह महान राजा सभी अन्य “देवताओं”पर शासन करता है।

For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

गहरी गुफाएँ और ऊँचे पर्वत यहोवा के हैं।

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

सागर उसका है, उसने उसे बनाया है। परमेश्वर ने स्वयं अपने हाथों से धरती को बनाया है।

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

आओ, हम उसको प्रणाम करें और उसकी उपासना करें। आओ हम परमेश्वर के गुण गाये जिसने हमें बनाया है।

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

वह हमारा परमेश्वर और हम उसके भक्त हैं। यदि हम उसकी सुने तो हम आज उसकी भेड़ हैं।

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

परमेश्वर कहता है, “तुम जैसे मरिबा और मरूस्थल के मस्सा में कठोर थे वैसे कठोर मत बनो।

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

तेरे पूर्वजों ने मुझको परखा था। उन्होंने मुझे परखा, पर तब उन्होंने देखा कि मैं क्या कर सकता हूँ।

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

मैं उन लोगों के साथ चालीस वर्ष तक धीरज बनाये रखा। मैं यह भी जानता था कि वे सच्चे नहीं हैं। उन लोगों ने मेरी सीख पर चलने से नकारा।

Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

सो मैं क्रोधित हुआ और मैंने प्रतिज्ञा की वे मेरे विशाल कि धरती पर कभी प्रवेश नहीं कर पायेंगे।”

Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
