Psalms 130

Veisu korkeimmassa Kuorissa. Syvyydessä minä huudan sinua, Herra.

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

Herra, kuule minun ääneni: vaarinottakaan korvas rukousteni äänestä.

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Jos sinä, Herra, soimaat syntiä: Herra, kuka siis pysyy?

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

Sillä sinun tykönäs on anteeksi antamus, että sinua peljättäisiin.

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

Minä odotan Herraa: sieluni odottaa, ja minä toivon hänen sanansa päälle.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Sieluni vartioitsee Herraa huomenvartiosta toiseen huomenvartioon asti.

My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Israel toivokaan Herran päälle; sillä Herralla on armo, ja runsas lunastus hänellä.

Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

Ja hän lunastaa Israelin kaikista synneistänsä.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
