Psalms 27

خداوند نور من و نجات من است، از که بترسم؟ خداوند مرا از تمام خطرها حفظ می‌کند، هرگز هراسان نخواهم شد.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

وقتی شریران دور مرا گرفتند و خواستند مرا بکشند، لغزیدند و افتادند.

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

اگر لشکری به من حمله کند، نخواهم ترسید، حتّی اگر دشمنان برای جنگ با من بیایند، باز هم به خدا توکّل خواهم کرد.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

یک چیز از خداوند خواستم، فقط یک چیز، و آن این است که تمام دوران عمرم در خانهٔ خداوند باشم و زیبایی جمال او را مشاهده کنم و دربارهٔ او تفکّر نمایم.

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

در روز تنگی مرا پناه خواهد داد. او مرا بسلامت در خیمهٔ خود حفظ خواهد نمود، و مرا بر روی صخره‌ای بلند مطمئن می‌سازد.

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

پس بر دشمنانم که دور مرا گرفته‌اند پیروز خواهم شد. با فریاد شادی در معبد بزرگ او قربانی خواهم گذرانید، و برای او سرود خواهم خواند و او را ستایش خواهم نمود.

And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

خداوندا، دعای مرا بشنو، بر من رحمت فرموده دعایم را مستجاب کن.

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

تو فرموده‌ای: «طالب من باشید!» خداوند، از صمیم قلب می‌گویم که طالب تو هستم،

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

روی خود را از من پنهان نکن! و بر من خشمگین مباش، و بندهٔ خود را از درگاهت مران. تو مددکار من بوده‌ای، ای خدای نجات بخش من، مرا ترک مکن و رد منما.

Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

حتّی اگر پدر و مادرم مرا ترک کنند، خداوند مرا ترک نخواهد کرد.

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

خداوندا! راه خود را به من نشان بده، و به‌خاطر دشمنانم مرا به راه راست هدایت نما.

Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

مرا به دست دشمنانم مسپار، آنها با شهادت دروغ و نیرنگ برضد من برخاسته‌اند.

Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

می‌دانم که رحمت و نیکویی‌های خداوند را در این زندگی باز هم خواهم دید.

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

بر خداوند توکّل کن، ایمان داشته باش و ناامید مشو.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
