Psalms 122

وقتی به من گفتند: «به خانهٔ خداوند برویم.» بسیار خوشحال شدم.

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

اکنون اینجا، در دروازه‌های اورشلیم ایستاده‌ایم.

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

اورشلیم شهری است بسیار محکم و به هم پیوسته.

Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

اینجا جایی است که تمام طایفه‌ها می‌آیند، تمام طایفه‌های اسرائیل، تا مطابق اوامر خداوند او را ستایش کنند.

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

در اینجا پادشاهان اسرائیل برای داوری مردم می‌نشستند.

For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

برای صلح و سلامتی اورشلیم دعا کنید تا تمام کسانی‌که تو را دوست دارند، سعادتمند گردند.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

صلح و سلامتی در درون دیوارهای تو و امنیّت در قصرهای تو باد!

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

به‌خاطر خویشاوندان و دوستان خود به اورشلیم می‌گویم: «سلامتی بر تو باد!»

For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

به‌خاطر خانهٔ خداوند خدای خود، سعادت تو را ای اورشلیم، خواهانم.

Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
