Numbers 17

И ГОСПОД говори на Мойсей и каза:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Говори на израилевите синове и вземи от тях дванадесет жезъла, по един жезъл за всеки бащин дом, от всичките им първенци според бащините им домове, и напиши името на всекиго на жезъла му.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.

На Левиевия жезъл напиши името на Аарон; понеже ще има по един жезъл за всеки началник на бащините им домове.

And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.

И ги положи в шатъра за срещане пред свидетелството, където Аз се срещам с вас.

And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.

И жезълът на човека, когото избера, ще цъфне. Така ще направя да престанат пред Мен роптанията на израилевите синове, с които те роптаят против вас.

And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.

И Мойсей говори на израилевите синове и всичките им първенци му дадоха по един жезъл за всеки първенец според бащините си домове, дванадесет жезъла; и жезълът на Аарон беше между жезлите им.

And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.

И Мойсей положи жезлите пред ГОСПОДА в шатъра на свидетелството.

And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.

И на следващия ден, когато Мойсей влезе в шатъра на свидетелството, ето, жезълът на Аарон за Левиевия дом беше цъфнал — беше изкарал пъпки и цветове и завързал зрели бадеми.

And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.

И Мойсей изнесе всичките жезли отпред ГОСПОДА при всичките израилеви синове и те ги видяха и взеха всеки жезъла си.

And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.

И ГОСПОД каза на Мойсей: Върни жезъла на Аарон пред свидетелството, за да се пази за знак за бунтовниците; и така да сложиш край на роптанията им пред Мен, за да не измрат.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.

И Мойсей направи така. Както му заповяда ГОСПОД, така направи.

And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.

Тогава израилевите синове говориха на Мойсей и казаха: Ето, ние загиваме, изгубени сме, всички сме изгубени!

And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.

Всеки, който се приближи до ГОСПОДНАТА скиния, умира — всички ли да измрем?

Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
