Jeremiah 36

И в четвъртата година на юдовия цар Йоаким, сина на Йосия, беше това слово от ГОСПОДА към Еремия и каза:

And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

Вземи си един свитък книга и напиши в него всичките думи, които ти говорих против Израил, против Юда и против всичките народи, от деня когато ти говорих, от дните на Йосия, до днес!

Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.

Може би юдовият дом ще чуе цялото зло, което мисля да им направя — за да се върнат всеки от злия си път и Аз да простя беззаконието им и греха им.

It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

И Еремия повика Варух, сина на Нирия, и Варух написа от устата на Еремия в един свитък книга всичките думи, които ГОСПОД му беше говорил.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.

И Еремия заповяда на Варух, като каза: Аз съм затворен, не мога да отида в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом;

And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:

затова иди ти и прочети от свитъка, който написа от устата ми, ГОСПОДНИТЕ думи в ушите на народа в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом в деня на поста. Прочети ги и в ушите на всички от Юда, които идват от градовете си.

Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD'S house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.

Може би молбата им ще дойде пред ГОСПОДА и ще се върнат всеки от злия си път, защото голям е гневът и яростта, която ГОСПОД произнесе против този народ.

It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.

И Варух, синът на Нирия, направи всичко, което му заповяда пророк Еремия, и прочете от книгата думите на ГОСПОДА в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом.

And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD'S house.

И в петата година на юдовия цар Йоаким, сина на Йосия, в деветия месец, се прогласи пост пред ГОСПОДА за целия народ в Ерусалим и за целия народ, който идваше от юдовите градове в Ерусалим.

And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.

И Варух прочете от книгата думите на Еремия в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, в стаята на Гемария, сина на Сафан, писаря, в горния двор, във входа на новата порта на ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, в ушите на целия народ.

Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD'S house, in the ears of all the people.

И Михей, синът на Гемария, сина на Сафан, чу от книгата всичките думи на ГОСПОДА.

When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD,

И слезе в царския дворец, в стаята на писаря. И ето, там седяха всичките първенци: писарят Елисама и Делая, синът на Семая, и Елнатан, синът на Аховор, и Гемария, синът на Сафан, и Седекия, синът на Анания, и всичките първенци.

Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.

И Михей им съобщи всичките думи, които беше чул, когато Варух чете от книгата в ушите на народа.

Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.

И всичките първенци изпратиха Юдий, сина на Натания, син на Селемия, син на Хусий, при Варух и казаха: Вземи в ръката си свитъка, който си прочел в ушите на народа, и ела! И Варух, синът на Нирия, взе свитъка в ръката си и дойде при тях.

Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.

И му казаха: Я седни и го прочети в ушите ни. И Варух го прочете в ушите им.

And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears.

И когато чуха всичките думи, те се спогледаха с ужас и казаха на Варух: Непременно ще съобщим на царя всички тези думи.

Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words.

И попитаха Варух, като казаха: Я ни кажи как си записал всички тези думи от устата му?

And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth?

А Варух им каза: Той ми каза от устата си всички тези думи, и аз ги написах с мастило в книгата.

Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book.

Тогава първенците казаха на Варух: Иди, скрий се, ти и Еремия; и никой да не знае къде сте!

Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be.

После влязоха при царя в двора; а свитъка бяха оставили в стаята на писаря Елисама; и съобщиха в ушите на царя всички тези думи.

And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king.

И царят изпрати Юдий да вземе свитъка; и той го взе от стаята на писаря Елисама. И Юдий го прочете в ушите на царя и в ушите на всичките първенци, които стояха около царя.

So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.

А царят седеше в зимния дворец, в деветия месец, и пред него имаше мангал с огън.

Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.

И когато Юдий прочиташе три-четири колони, царят ги отрязваше с писарския нож и ги хвърляше в огъня на мангала, докато целият свитък изгоря в огъня на мангала.

And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.

И царят и всичките му слуги не се ужасиха и не раздраха дрехите си, когато чуха всички тези думи.

Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.

И въпреки че Елнатан и Делая, и Гемария се застъпиха пред царя да не изгаря свитъка, той не ги послуша.

Nevertheless Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.

И царят заповяда на царския син Ерамеил и на Серая, сина на Азриил, и на Селемия, сина на Авдиил, да хванат писаря Варух и пророк Еремия; но ГОСПОД ги скри.

But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the LORD hid them.

И ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към Еремия, след като царят изгори свитъка и думите, които Варух написа от устата на Еремия, и каза:

Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,

Пак си вземи друг свитък и напиши в него всичките предишни думи, които бяха в първия свитък, който юдовият цар Йоаким изгори.

Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.

А за юдовия цар Йоаким кажи: Така казва ГОСПОД: Ти изгори този свитък, като каза: Защо си написал в него, казвайки, че вавилонският цар със сигурност ще дойде и ще разори тази земя и ще изтреби от нея и човек, и животно?

And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?

Затова, така казва ГОСПОД за юдовия цар Йоаким: Той няма да има никой, който да седи на престола на Давид. И трупът му ще бъде захвърлен на жегата денем и на сланата нощем.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.

Аз ще накажа него и потомството му, и слугите му за беззаконието им; и ще докарам върху тях и върху ерусалимските жители и върху юдовите мъже цялото зло, което изговорих против тях, а те не послушаха.

And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they hearkened not.

И Еремия взе друг свитък и го даде на писаря Варух, сина на Нирия, и той написа в него от устата на Еремия всичките думи на книгата, която юдовият цар Йоаким изгори в огъня; и още много подобни думи се добавиха към тях.

Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
