أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً مَقَتُّ ذلِكَ الْجِيلَ، وَقُلْتُ: «هُمْ شَعْبٌ ضَالٌّ قَلْبُهُمْ، وَهُمْ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوا سُبُلِي».
Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
