Isaiah 34

اے قومو، قریب آ کر سن لو! اے اُمّتو، دھیان دو! دنیا اور جو بھی اُس میں ہے کان لگائے، زمین اور جو کچھ اُس میں سے پھوٹ نکلا ہے توجہ دے!

Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.

کیونکہ رب کو تمام اُمّتوں پر غصہ آ گیا ہے، اور اُس کا غضب اُن کے تمام لشکروں پر نازل ہو رہا ہے۔ وہ اُنہیں مکمل طور پر تباہ کرے گا، اُنہیں سفاک کے حوالے کرے گا۔

For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

اُن کے مقتولوں کو باہر پھینکا جائے گا، اور لاشوں کی بدبو چاروں طرف پھیلے گی۔ پہاڑ اُن کے خون سے شرابور ہوں گے۔

Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

تمام ستارے گل جائیں گے، اور آسمان کو طومار کی طرح لپیٹا جائے گا۔ ستاروں کا پورا لشکر انگور کے مُرجھائے ہوئے پتوں کی طرح جھڑ جائے گا، وہ انجیر کے درخت کی سوکھی ہریالی کی طرح گر جائے گا۔

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

کیونکہ آسمان پر میری تلوار خون پی پی کر مست ہو گئی ہے۔ دیکھو، اب وہ ادوم پر نازل ہو رہی ہے تاکہ اُس کی عدالت کرے، اُس قوم کی جس کی مکمل تباہی کا فیصلہ مَیں کر چکا ہوں۔

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

رب کی تلوار خون آلودہ ہو گئی ہے، اور اُس سے چربی ٹپکتی ہے۔ بھیڑبکریوں کا خون اور مینڈھوں کے گُردوں کی چربی اُس پر لگی ہے، کیونکہ رب بُصرہ شہر میں قربانی کی عید اور ملکِ ادوم میں قتلِ عام کا تہوار منائے گا۔

The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

اُس وقت جنگلی بَیل اُن کے ساتھ گر جائیں گے، اور بچھڑے طاقت ور سانڈوں سمیت ختم ہو جائیں گے۔ اُن کی زمین خون سے مست اور خاک چربی سے شرابور ہو گی۔

And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

کیونکہ وہ دن آ گیا ہے جب رب بدلہ لے گا، وہ سال جب وہ ادوم سے اسرائیل کا انتقام لے گا۔

For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

ادوم کی ندیوں میں تارکول ہی بہے گا، اور گندھک زمین کو ڈھانپے گی۔ ملک بھڑکتی ہوئی رال سے بھر جائے گا،

And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

جس کی آگ نہ دن اور نہ رات بجھے گی بلکہ ہمیشہ تک دھواں چھوڑتی رہے گی۔ ملک نسل در نسل ویران و سنسان رہے گا، یہاں تک کہ مسافر بھی ہمیشہ تک اُس میں سے گزرنے سے گریز کریں گے۔

It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

دشتی اُلّو اور خارپُشت اُس پر قبضہ کریں گے، چنگھاڑنے والے اُلّو اور کوّے اُس میں بسیرا کریں گے۔ کیونکہ رب فیتے اور ساہول سے ادوم کا پورا ملک ناپ ناپ کر اُجاڑ اور ویرانی کے حوالے کرے گا۔

But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.

اُس کے شرفا کا نام و نشان تک نہیں رہے گا۔ کچھ نہیں رہے گا جو بادشاہی کہلائے، ملک کے تمام رئیس جاتے رہیں گے۔

They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.

کانٹےدار پودے اُس کے محلوں پر چھا جائیں گے، خود رَو پودے اور اونٹ کٹارے اُس کے قلعہ بند شہروں میں پھیل جائیں گے۔ ملک گیدڑ اور عقابی اُلّو کا گھر بنے گا۔

And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.

وہاں ریگستان کے جانور جنگلی کُتوں سے ملیں گے، اور بکرانما جِنّ ایک دوسرے سے ملاقات کریں گے۔ لیلیت نامی آسیب بھی اُس میں ٹھہرے گا، وہاں اُسے بھی آرام گاہ ملے گی۔

The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.

مادہ سانپ اُس کے سائے میں بِل بنا کر اُس میں اپنے انڈے دے گی اور اُنہیں سے کر پالے گی۔ شکاری پرندے بھی دو دو ہو کر وہاں جمع ہوں گے۔

There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.

رب کی کتاب میں پڑھ کر اِس کی تحقیق کرو! ادوم میں یہ تمام چیزیں مل جائیں گی۔ ملک ایک سے بھی محروم نہیں رہے گا بلکہ سب مل کر اُس میں پائی جائیں گی۔ کیونکہ رب ہی کے منہ نے اِس کا حکم دیا ہے، اور اُسی کا روح اِنہیں اکٹھا کرے گا۔

Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

وہی ساری زمین کی پیمائش کرے گا اور پھر قرعہ ڈال کر مذکورہ جانداروں میں تقسیم کرے گا۔ تب ملک ابد تک اُن کی ملکیت میں آئے گا، اور وہ نسل در نسل اُس میں آباد ہو ں گے۔

And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
