Ezekiel 26

یہویاکین بادشاہ کی جلاوطنی کے 11ویں سال میں رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا۔ مہینے کا پہلا دن تھا۔

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

”اے آدم زاد، صور بیٹی یروشلم کی تباہی دیکھ کر خوش ہوئی ہے۔ وہ کہتی ہے، ’لو، اقوام کا دروازہ ٹوٹ گیا ہے! اب مَیں ہی اِس کی ذمہ داریاں نبھاؤں گی۔ اب جب یروشلم ویران ہے تو مَیں ہی فروغ پاؤں گی۔‘

Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:

جواب میں رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ اے صور، مَیں تجھ سے نپٹ لوں گا! مَیں متعدد قوموں کو تیرے خلاف بھیجوں گا۔ سمندر کی زبردست موجوں کی طرح وہ تجھ پر ٹوٹ پڑیں گی۔

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.

وہ صور شہر کی فصیل کو ڈھا کر اُس کے بُرجوں کو خاک میں ملا دیں گی۔ تب مَیں اُسے اِتنے زور سے جھاڑ دوں گا کہ مٹی تک نہیں رہے گی۔ خالی چٹان ہی نظر آئے گی۔

And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ وہ سمندر کے درمیان ایسی جگہ رہے گی جہاں مچھیرے اپنے جالوں کو سُکھانے کے لئے بچھا دیں گے۔ دیگر اقوام اُسے لُوٹ لیں گی،

It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations.

اور خشکی پر اُس کی آبادیاں تلوار کی زد میں آ جائیں گی۔ تب وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔

And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

کیونکہ رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ مَیں بابل کے بادشاہ نبوکدنضر کو تیرے خلاف بھیجوں گا جو گھوڑے، رتھ، گھڑسوار اور بڑی فوج لے کر شمال سے تجھ پر حملہ کرے گا۔

For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.

خشکی پر تیری آبادیوں کو وہ تلوار سے تباہ کرے گا، پھر پُشتے اور بُرجوں سے تجھے گھیر لے گا۔ اُس کے فوجی اپنی ڈھالیں اُٹھا کر تجھ پر حملہ کریں گے۔

He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee.

بادشاہ اپنی قلعہ شکن مشینوں سے تیری فصیل کو ڈھا دے گا اور اپنے آلات سے تیرے بُرجوں کو گرا دے گا۔

And he shall set engines of war against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers.

جب اُس کے بےشمار گھوڑے چل پڑیں گے تو اِتنی گرد اُڑ جائے گی کہ تُو اُس میں ڈوب جائے گی۔ جب بادشاہ تیری فصیل کو توڑ توڑ کر تیرے دروازوں میں داخل ہو گا تو تیری دیواریں گھوڑوں اور رتھوں کے شور سے لرز اُٹھیں گی۔

By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.

اُس کے گھوڑوں کے کُھر تیری تمام گلیوں کو کچل دیں گے، اور تیرے باشندے تلوار سے مر جائیں گے، تیرے مضبوط ستون زمین بوس ہو جائیں گے۔

With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.

دشمن تیری دولت چھین لیں گے اور تیری تجارت کا مال لُوٹ لیں گے۔ وہ تیری دیواروں کو گرا کر تیری شاندار عمارتوں کو مسمار کریں گے، پھر تیرے پتھر، لکڑی اور ملبہ سمندر میں پھینک دیں گے۔

And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.

مَیں تیرے گیتوں کا شور بند کروں گا۔ آئندہ تیرے سرودوں کی آواز سنائی نہیں دے گی۔

And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.

مَیں تجھے ننگی چٹان میں تبدیل کروں گا، اور مچھیرے تجھے اپنے جال بچھا کر سُکھانے کے لئے استعمال کریں گے۔ آئندہ تجھے کبھی دوبارہ تعمیر نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ یہ رب قادرِ مطلق کا فرمان ہے۔

And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ اے صور بیٹی، ساحلی علاقے کانپ اُٹھیں گے جب تُو دھڑام سے گر جائے گی، جب ہر طرف زخمی لوگوں کی کراہتی آوازیں سنائی دیں گی، ہر گلی میں قتل و غارت کا شور مچے گا۔

Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?

تب ساحلی علاقوں کے تمام حکمران اپنے تختوں سے اُتر کر اپنے چوغے اور شاندار لباس اُتاریں گے۔ وہ ماتمی کپڑے پہن کر زمین پر بیٹھ جائیں گے اور بار بار لرز اُٹھیں گے، یہاں تک وہ تیرے انجام پر پریشان ہوں گے۔

Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee.

تب وہ تجھ پر ماتم کر کے گیت گائیں گے، ’ہائے، تُو کتنے دھڑام سے گر کر تباہ ہوئی ہے! اے ساحلی شہر، اے صور بیٹی، پہلے تُو اپنے باشندوں سمیت سمندر کے درمیان رہ کر کتنی مشہور اور طاقت ور تھی۔ گرد و نواح کے تمام باشندے تجھ سے دہشت کھاتے تھے۔

And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!

اب ساحلی علاقے تیرے انجام کو دیکھ کر تھرتھرا رہے ہیں۔ سمندر کے جزیرے تیرے خاتمے کی خبر سن کر دہشت زدہ ہو گئے ہیں۔‘

Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ اے صور بیٹی، مَیں تجھے ویران و سنسان کروں گا۔ تُو اُن دیگر شہروں کی مانند بن جائے گی جو نیست و نابود ہو گئے ہیں۔ مَیں تجھ پر سیلاب لاؤں گا، اور گہرا پانی تجھے ڈھانپ دے گا۔

For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;

مَیں تجھے پاتال میں اُترنے دوں گا، اور تُو اُس قوم کے پاس پہنچے گی جو قدیم زمانے سے ہی وہاں بستی ہے۔ تب تجھے زمین کی گہرائیوں میں رہنا پڑے گا، وہاں جہاں قدیم زمانوں کے کھنڈرات ہیں۔ تُو مُردوں کے ملک میں رہے گی اور کبھی زندگی کے ملک میں واپس نہیں آئے گی، نہ وہاں اپنا مقام دوبارہ حاصل کرے گی۔

When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;

مَیں ہونے دوں گا کہ تیرا انجام دہشت ناک ہو گا، اور تُو سراسر تباہ ہو جائے گی۔ لوگ تیرا کھوج لگائیں گے لیکن تجھے کبھی نہیں پائیں گے۔ یہ رب قادرِ مطلق کا فرمان ہے۔“

I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord GOD.
