Isaiah 66

Ουτω λεγει Κυριος Ο ουρανος ειναι θρονος μου και η γη υποποδιον των ποδων μου ποιος ειναι ο οικος, τον οποιον ηθελετε οικοδομησει δι εμε; και ποιος ειναι ο τοπος της αναπαυσεως μου;

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

Διοτι η χειρ μου εκαμε παντα ταυτα και εγειναν παντα ταυτα, λεγει Κυριος εις τινα λοιπον θελω επιβλεψει; εις τον πτωχον και συντετριμμενον το πνευμα και τρεμοντα τον λογον μου.

For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Οστις δε σφαζει βουν, ειναι ως ο φονευων ανθρωπον οστις θυσιαζει αρνιον, ως ο κοπτων κυνος λαιμον οστις προσφερει προσφοραν εξ αλφιτων, ως προσφερων αιμα χοιρειον οστις θυσιαζει, ως ο ευλογων ειδωλον. Ναι, αυτοι εξελεξαν τας οδους αυτων, και η ψυχη αυτων ηδυνεται εις τα βδελυγματα αυτων.

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Και εγω λοιπον θελω εκλεξει τα εις αυτους ολεθρια και θελω φερει επ αυτους οσα φοβουνται διοτι εκαλουν και ουδεις απεκρινετο ελαλουν και δεν ηκουον αλλ επραττον το κακον ενωπιον μου και εξελεγον το μη αρεστον εις εμε.

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Ακουσατε τον λογον του Κυριου, σεις οι τρεμοντες τον λογον αυτου οι αδελφοι σας, οιτινες σας μισουσι και σας αποβαλλουσιν ενεκεν του ονοματος μου, ειπαν, Ας δοξασθη ο Κυριος πλην αυτος θελει φανη εις χαραν σας, εκεινοι δε θελουσι καταισχυνθη.

Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Φωνη κραυγης ερχεται εκ της πολεως, φωνη εκ του ναου, φωνη του Κυριου, οστις καμνει ανταποδοσιν εις τους εχθρους αυτου.

A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

Πριν κοιλοπονηση, εγεννησε πριν ελθωσιν οι πονοι αυτης, ηλευθερωθη και εγεννησεν αρσενικον.

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

Τις ηκουσε τοιουτον πραγμα; τις ειδε τοιαυτα; ηθελε γεννησει η γη εν μια ημερα; η εθνος ηθελε γεννηθη ενταυτω αλλ η Σιων αμα εκοιλοπονησεν, εγεννησε τα τεκνα αυτης.

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Εγω, ο φερων εις την γενναν, δεν ηθελον καμει να γεννηση; λεγει Κυριος εγω, ο καμνων να γεννωσιν, ηθελον κλεισει την μητραν; λεγει ο Θεος σου.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

Ευφρανθητε μετα της Ιερουσαλημ και αγαλλεσθε μετ αυτης, παντες οι αγαπωντες αυτην χαρητε χαραν μετ αυτης, παντες οι πενθουντες δι αυτην

Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

δια να θηλασητε και να χορτασθητε απο των μαστων των παρηγοριων αυτης δια να εκθηλασητε και να εντρυφησητε εις την αφθονιαν της δοξης αυτης.

That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

διοτι ουτω λεγει Κυριος Ιδου, εις αυτην θελω στρεψει την ειρηνην ως ποταμον, και την δοξαν των εθνων ως χειμαρρον πλημμυρουντα τοτε θελετε θηλασει, θελετε βασταχθη επι των πλευρων και κολακευθη επι των γονατων αυτης.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

Ως παιδιον, το οποιον παρηγορει η μητηρ αυτου, ουτως εγω θελω σας παρηγορησει και θελετε παρηγορηθη εν τη Ιερουσαλημ.

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Και θελετε ιδει, και η καρδια σας θελει ευφρανθη και τα οστα σας θελουσιν ανθησει ως χορτος και η χειρ του Κυριου θελει γνωρισθη προς τους δουλους αυτου, η δε οργη προς τους εχθρους αυτου.

And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

Διοτι, ιδου, ο Κυριος θελει ελθει εν πυρι, και αι αμαξαι αυτου θελουσιν εισθαι ως ανεμοστροβιλος, δια να αποδωση την οργην αυτου με ορμην και την επιτιμησιν αυτου με φλογας πυρος.

For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Διοτι εν πυρι Κυριου και εν τη μαχαιρα αυτου θελει κριθη πασα σαρξ, και οι πεφονευμενοι του Κυριου θελουσιν εισθαι πολλοι.

For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

Οι αγιαζομενοι και καθαριζομενοι εν τοις κηποις ο εις κατοπιν του αλλου αναφανδον, τρωγοντες χοιρειον κρεας και τα βδελυγματα και τον ποντικον, ουτοι θελουσι καταναλωθη ομου, λεγει Κυριος.

They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

Διοτι εγω εξευρω τα εργα αυτων και τους διαλογισμους αυτων και ερχομαι δια να συναξω παντα τα εθνη και τας γλωσσας και θελουσιν ελθει και ιδει την δοξαν μου.

For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

Και θελω στησει σημειον μεταξυ αυτων και τους σεσωσμενους εξ αυτων θελω εξαποστειλει εις τα εθνη, εις Θαρσεις, Φουλ και Λουδ, οιτινες συρουσι τοξον, εις Θουβαλ και Ιαυαν, εις τας νησους τας μακραν, οιτινες δεν ηκουσαν την φημην μου ουδε ειδον την δοξαν μου και θελουσι κηρυξει την δοξαν μου μεταξυ των εθνων.

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

Και θελουσι φερει παντας τους αδελφους σας εκ παντων των εθνων προσφοραν εις τον Κυριον, επι ιππων και επι αμαξων και επι φορειων και επι ημιονων και επι ταχυδρομων ζωων, προς το αγιον μου ορος, την Ιερουσαλημ, λεγει Κυριος, καθως τα τεκνα του Ισραηλ φερουσι την εξ αλφιτων προσφοραν εν καθαρω αγγειω προς τον οικον του Κυριου.

And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

Και προσετι θελω λαβει εξ αυτων ιερεις και Λευιτας, λεγει Κυριος.

And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

Διοτι ως οι νεοι ουρανοι και η νεα γη, τα οποια εγω θελω καμει, θελουσι διαμενει ενωπιον μου, λεγει Κυριος, ουτω θελει διαμενει το σπερμα σας και το ονομα σας.

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Και απο νεας σεληνης εως αλλης και απο σαββατου εως αλλου θελει ερχεσθαι πασα σαρξ δια να προσκυνη ενωπιον μου, λεγει Κυριος.

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Και θελουσιν εξελθει και ιδει τα κωλα των ανθρωπων, οιτινες εσταθησαν παραβαται εναντιον μου διοτι ο σκωληξ αυτων δεν θελει τελευτησει και το πυρ αυτων δεν θελει σβεσθη και θελουσιν εισθαι βδελυγμα εις πασαν σαρκα.

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
