Isaiah 34

Πλησιασατε, εθνη, δια να ακουσητε και προσεξατε, λαοι ας ακουση η γη και το πληρωμα αυτης η οικουμενη και παντα οσα γεννωνται εν αυτη.

Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.

Διοτι ο θυμος του Κυριου ειναι επι παντα τα εθνη, και η φλογερα οργη αυτου επι παντα τα στρατευματα αυτων κατεστρεψεν αυτα ολοκληρως παρεδωκεν αυτα εις σφαγην.

For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

Οι δε πεφονευμενοι αυτων θελουσι �ιφθη εξω, και η δυσωδια αυτων θελει αναδοθη απο των πτωματων αυτων τα δε ορη θελουσι διαλυθη απο του αιματος αυτων.

Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

Και πασα η στρατια του ουρανου θελει λυωσει, και οι ουρανοι θελουσι περιτυλιχθη ως βιβλιον, και πασα η στρατια αυτων θελει πεσει, καθως πιπτει το φυλλον απο της αμπελου και καθως πιπτουσι τα φυλλα απο της συκης.

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

Διοτι η μαχαιρα μου εμεθυσθη εν τω ουρανω ιδου, επι την Ιδουμαιαν και επι τον λαον της καταστροφης μου θελει καταβη δια κρισιν.

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

Η μαχαιρα του Κυριου ειναι πληρης αιματος επαχυνθη με το παχος, με το αιμα των αρνιων και τραγων, με το παχος των νεφρων των κριων διοτι ο Κυριος εχει θυσιαν εν Βοσορρα και σφαγην μεγαλην εν τη γη της Ιδουμαιας.

The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

Και οι μονοκεροι θελουσι καταβη μετ αυτων και οι μοσχοι μετα των ταυρων και η γη αυτων θελει μεθυσθη απο αιματος, και το χωμα αυτων θελει παχυνθη απο παχους.

And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

Διοτι ειναι ημερα εκδικησεως του Κυριου, ενιαυτος ανταποδοσεων δια την κρισιν της Σιων.

For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

Και τα �ευματα αυτης θελουσι μεταβληθη εις πισσαν και το χωμα αυτης εις θειον, και η γη αυτης θελει κατασταθη πισσα καιομενη

And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

νυκτα και ημεραν δεν θελει σβεσθη ο καπνος αυτης θελει αναβαινει ακαταπαυστως απο γενεας εις γενεαν θελει μενει ηρημωμενη και δεν θελει υπαρχει ο διαβαινων δι αυτης εις αιωνα αιωνος.

It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

Αλλ ο πελεκαν και ο ακανθοχοιρος θελουσι κληρονομησει αυτην και η γλαυξ και ο κοραξ θελουσι κατοικει εν αυτη και ο Κυριος θελει εξαπλωσει επ αυτης, σχοινιον ερημωσεως και σταθμην κρημνισμου.

But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.

Θελουσι καλεσει εις την βασιλειαν τους μεγιστανας αυτης αλλ ουδεις θελει εισθαι εκει και παντες οι αρχοντες αυτης θελουσιν ελθει εις το μηδεν.

They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.

Και ακανθαι θελουσι βλαστησει εν τοις παλατιοις αυτης, κνιδαι και βατοι εν τοις οχυρωμασιν αυτης και θελει εισθαι κατοικια θωων, αυλη στρουθοκαμηλων.

And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.

Και οι λυκοι θελουσι συναπαντασθαι εκει με τους αιλουρους και ο σατυρος θελει φωναζει προς τον συντροφον αυτου ο κοκκυξ ετι θελει αναπαυεσθαι εκει, ευρισκων εις εαυτον τοπον αναπαυσεως.

The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.

Εκει θελει εμφωλευει ο νυκτοκοραξ και θελει γεννα και επωαζει και συναγει τους νεοσσους υπο την σκιαν αυτου εκει θελουσι συναγεσθαι και οι γυπες, εκαστος μετα του συντροφου αυτου.

There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.

Ζητησατε εν τω βιβλιω του Κυριου και αναγνωσατε ουδεν εκ τουτων θελει λειψει, ουδεν θελει εισθαι χωρις του συντροφου αυτου διοτι αυτο το στομα του Κυριου προσεταξε, και αυτο το πνευμα αυτου συνηγαγε ταυτα.

Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

Και αυτος ερριψε τον κληρον περι αυτων, και η χειρ αυτου διεμοιρασεν εις αυτα με σταθμην εκεινην την γην θελουσι κληρονομησει αυτην εις τον αιωνα απο γενεας εις γενεαν θελουσι κατοικει εν αυτη.

And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
