Psalms 120

Sıkıntıya düşünce RAB’be seslendim; Yanıtladı beni.

In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

Ya RAB, kurtar canımı yalancı dudaklardan, Aldatıcı dillerden!

Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

Ey aldatıcı dil, RAB ne verecek sana, Daha ne verecek?

What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

Yiğidin sivri oklarıyla Retem çalısından alevli korlar!

Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

Vay bana, Meşek’te garip kaldım sanki, Kedar çadırları arasında oturdum.

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

Fazla kaldım Barıştan nefret edenler arasında.

My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

Ben barış yanlısıyım, Ama söze başladığımda, Onlar savaşa kalkıyor!

I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
