Ezekiel 35

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,

”اے آدم زاد، سعیر کے پہاڑی علاقے کی طرف رُخ کر کے اُس کے خلاف نبوّت کر!

And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.

اُسے بتا، ’رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ اے سعیر کے پہاڑی علاقے، اب مَیں تجھ سے نپٹ لوں گا۔ مَیں اپنا ہاتھ تیرے خلاف اُٹھا کر تجھے ویران و سنسان کر دوں گا۔

I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

مَیں تیرے شہروں کو ملبے کے ڈھیر بنا دوں گا، اور تُو سراسر اُجڑ جائے گا۔ تب تُو جان لے گا کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔

Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

تُو ہمیشہ اسرائیلیوں کا سخت دشمن رہا ہے، اور جب اُن پر آفت آئی اور اُن کی سزا عروج تک پہنچی تو تُو بھی تلوار لے کر اُن پر ٹوٹ پڑا۔

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.

اِس لئے رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ میری حیات کی قَسم، مَیں تجھے قتل و غارت کے حوالے کروں گا، اور قتل و غارت تیرا تعاقب کرتی رہے گی۔ چونکہ تُو نے قتل و غارت کرنے سے نفرت نہ کی، اِس لئے قتل و غارت تیرے پیچھے پڑی رہے گی۔

Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.

مَیں سعیر کے پہاڑی علاقے کو ویران و سنسان کر کے وہاں کے تمام آنے جانے والوں کو مٹا ڈالوں گا۔

And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

تیرے پہاڑی علاقے کو مَیں مقتولوں سے بھر دوں گا۔ تلوار کی زد میں آنے والے ہر طرف پڑے رہیں گے۔ تیری پہاڑیوں، وادیوں اور تمام گھاٹیوں میں لاشیں نظر آئیں گی۔

I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

میرے حکم پر تُو ابد تک ویران رہے گا، اور تیرے شہر غیرآباد رہیں گے۔ تب تُو جان لے گا کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔

Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:

تُو بولا، ”اسرائیل اور یہوداہ کی دونوں قومیں اپنے علاقوں سمیت میری ہی ہیں! آؤ ہم اُن پر قبضہ کریں۔“ تجھے خیال تک نہیں آیا کہ رب وہاں موجود ہے۔

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

اِس لئے رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ میری حیات کی قَسم، مَیں تجھ سے وہی سلوک کروں گا جو تُو نے اُن سے کیا جب تُو نے غصے اور حسد کے عالم میں اُن پر اپنی پوری نفرت کا اظہار کیا۔ لیکن اُن ہی پر مَیں اپنے آپ کو ظاہر کروں گا جب مَیں تیری عدالت کروں گا۔

And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

اُس وقت تُو جان لے گا کہ مَیں، رب نے وہ تمام کفر سن لیا ہے جو تُو نے اسرائیل کے پہاڑوں کے خلاف بکا ہے۔ کیونکہ تُو نے کہا، ”یہ اُجڑ گئے ہیں، اب یہ ہمارے قبضے میں آ گئے ہیں اور ہم اُنہیں کھا سکتے ہیں۔“

Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.

تُو نے شیخی مار مار کر میرے خلاف کفر بکا ہے، لیکن خبردار! مَیں نے اِن تمام باتوں پر توجہ دی ہے۔

Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ تُو نے خوشی منائی کہ پورا ملک ویران و سنسان ہے، لیکن مَیں تجھے بھی اُتنا ہی ویران کر دوں گا۔

As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

تُو کتنا خوش ہوا جب اسرائیل کی موروثی زمین اُجڑ گئی! اب مَیں تیرے ساتھ بھی ایسا ہی کروں گا۔ اے سعیر کے پہاڑی علاقے، تُو پورے ادوم سمیت ویران و سنسان ہو جائے گا۔ تب وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔‘
