Hosea 14

O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

Завинить Самарія, бо стала уперта до Бога свого, поляжуть вони від меча! Порозбивані будуть їхні діти, вагітні їхні розпороті будуть!

Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

Вернися, Ізраїлю, до Господа, Бога свого, бо спіткнувся ти через провину свою!

Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

Візьміть із собою слова, та й зверніться до Господа, до Нього промовте: Прости нам усяку провину, та добре прийми, і ми принесемо у жертву плода своїх уст!

I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

Ашшур не спасе нас, не будемо їздити ми на коні, і не скажемо вже чинові рук наших: боже наш, бо тільки Тобою помилуваний сирота.

I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.

Ворохобність їхню вилікую, добровільно любитиму їх, бо Мій гнів відвернувся від нього.

His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

Я буду Ізраїлеві, як роса, розцвіте він, неначе лілея, і пустить коріння своє, мов Ліван.

They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

Розійдуться його пагінці, і буде його пишнота, мов оливне те дерево, а пахощ його мов Ліван.

Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

Навернуться ті, що сиділи під тінню його, збіжжя оживлять вони й зацвітуть, немов той виноград, будуть згадки про нього, немов про ліванське вино.

Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

Єфрем, що йому до бовванів іще? Я вислухав вже та побачив його, Я для нього немов кипарис той зелений: з Мене знайдений буде твій плід. Хто мудрий, то це зрозуміє, розумний і пізнає, бо прості Господні дороги, і праведні ходять по них, а грішні спіткнуться на них!
