Psalms 120

In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

Na minha angústia clamei ao Senhor, e ele me ouviu.

Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

Senhor, livra-me dos lábios mentirosos e da língua enganadora.

What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

Que te será dado, ou que te será acrescentado, língua enganadora?

Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

Flechas agudas do valente, com brasas vivas de zimbro!

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

Ai de mim, que peregrino em Meseque, e habito entre as tendas de Quedar!

My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

Há muito que eu habito com aqueles que odeiam a paz.

I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

Eu sou pela paz; mas quando falo, eles são pela guerra.
