Psalms 75

Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

Slavimo te, Bože, slavimo i zazivamo ime tvoje, pripovijedamo čudesa tvoja.

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

"Kad odredim vrijeme, sudit ću po pravu.

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

Pa neka se strese zemlja sa stanovnicima svojim, ja sam učvrstio stupove njezine."

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

Drznike opominjem: "Ne budite drski!" bezbožnike: "Ne budite tako rogati!"

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

Ne dižite roga svog protiv Neba, nemojte govoriti drsko na Boga!

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Jer niti sa istoka niti sa zapada, niti iz pustinje niti sa bregova ...

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

Bog je koji sudi: ovoga snizuje, onog uzvisuje!

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

Jer je u Jahvinoj ruci pehar pun vina pjenušava, začinjena mirisnim travama; iz njega on napaja, do taloga će ga iskapiti i ispiti svi zlotvori svijeta.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

A ja ću klicati dovijeka, pjevat ću Bogu Jakovljevu. [ (Psalms 75:11) Rogove ću polomiti bezbožniku, a pravednik će podići glavu. ]
