Psalms 70

Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

Zborovođi. Davidov. Za spomen.

Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

O Bože, spasi me, Jahve, u pomoć mi pohitaj!

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

Nek' se postide i smetu svi koji mi o glavi rade! Nek' odstupe i nek' se posrame koji se nesreći mojoj raduju!

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

Nek' uzmaknu u sramoti svojoj koji zlurado na me grohoću!

But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

Neka kliču i nek' se vesele u tebi svi koji tebe traže! Neka govore svagda: "Velik je Bog!" svi koji spasenje tvoje ljube! [ (Psalms 70:6) A bijedan sam ja i nevoljan, o Bože, u pomoć mi pohitaj! Ti si pomoć moja i spasitelj; Jahve, ne kasni! ]
