Zechariah 2

I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

След това повдигнах очите си и видях, и ето, един мъж и в ръката му имаше мерителна връв.

Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

И казах: Къде отиваш? А той ми каза: Да измеря Ерусалим, за да видя каква е ширината му и каква е дължината му.

And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

И, ето, ангелът, който говореше с мен, излезе и друг ангел излезе да го посрещне.

And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

И му каза: Тичай, говори на този младеж и кажи: Ерусалим ще се насели без стени заради многото хора и добитък в него.

For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

И Аз, заявява ГОСПОД, ще му бъда огнена стена наоколо и ще бъда за слава сред него.

Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

Горко! Горко! Бягайте от северната земя, заявява ГОСПОД, защото ви разпръснах към четирите небесни ветрища, заявява ГОСПОД.

Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

О, сионска дъще! Спасявай се, ти, която живееш при вавилонската дъщеря!

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

Защото така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата: За слава Той ме изпрати при народите, които ви плячкосаха; защото, който докача вас, докача зеницата на окото Му.

For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

Защото ето, Аз ще помахам с ръката Си върху тях и те ще станат плячка на слугите си. Тогава ще познаете, че ГОСПОД на Войнствата Ме е изпратил.

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

Пей и се радвай, сионска дъще, защото, ето, Аз идвам и ще обитавам сред теб, заявява ГОСПОД.

And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

И в онзи ден много народи ще се прилепят към ГОСПОДА и ще Ми бъдат народ. И Аз ще обитавам сред теб и ще познаеш, че ГОСПОД на Войнствата Ме е изпратил при теб.

And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

И ГОСПОД ще наследи Юда за Свой дял в святата земя и пак ще избере Ерусалим.

Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Замълчи, всяко създание, пред ГОСПОДА, защото Той се надига от святото Си обиталище!
