Judges 10

And after Abimelech there arose to defend Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in mount Ephraim.

А след Авимелех се издигна да избави Израил един мъж от Исахар — Тола, син на Фуя, син на Додо; той живееше в Самир в хълмистата земя на Ефрем.

And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir.

И той съди Израил двадесет и три години. И умря и беше погребан в Самир.

And after him arose Jair, a Gileadite, and judged Israel twenty and two years.

А след него се издигна Яир, галаадецът; той съди Израил двадесет и две години.

And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havoth–jair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead.

А той имаше тридесет сина, които яздеха на тридесет магаренца и имаха тридесет града; те се наричат и до днес селищата на Яир, които са в галаадската земя.

And Jair died, and was buried in Camon.

И Яир умря и беше погребан в Камон.

And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him.

После израилевите синове пак вършиха зло пред ГОСПОДА и служеха на ваалимите и на астартите, на боговете на Арам, на боговете на Сидон, на боговете на Моав, на боговете на синовете на Амон и на боговете на филистимците; и оставиха ГОСПОДА и не Му служеха.

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.

И гневът на ГОСПОДА пламна против Израил и Той ги продаде в ръката на филистимците и в ръката на синовете на Амон.

And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.

От тази година те измъчваха и потискаха израилевите синове осемнадесет години — всичките израилеви синове, които бяха оттатък Йордан в земята на аморейците, която е в Галаад.

Moreover the children of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed.

И синовете на Амон преминаха Йордан, за да воюват и против Юда, и против Вениамин, и против ефремовия дом. Така Израил беше крайно притеснен.

And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.

И израилевите синове извикаха към ГОСПОДА и казаха: Съгрешихме против Теб, защото оставихме нашия Бог и служихме на ваалимите!

And the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

А ГОСПОД каза на израилевите синове: Не ви ли избавих от египтяните, от аморейците, от синовете на Амон и от филистимците?

The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.

И когато сидонците, амаличаните и маонците ви притесняваха, вие извикахте към Мен и Аз ви избавих от ръката им.

Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

Но вие Ме оставихте и служихте на други богове, затова няма да ви избавям повече.

Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.

Идете и викайте към боговете, които сте си избрали; нека те ви избавят във времето на бедствието ви!

And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.

А израилевите синове казаха на ГОСПОДА: Съгрешихме; направи ни каквото Ти се вижда добро; само, молим Те, избави ни днес!

And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

И те отмахнаха отсред себе си чуждите богове и служиха на ГОСПОДА; и душата Му повече не можеше да търпи окаяността на Израил.

Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.

И синовете на Амон се събраха и се разположиха на стан в Галаад, а израилевите синове се събраха и се разположиха на стан в Масфа.

And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

И народът и галаадските водачи си казаха един на друг: Кой е мъжът, който ще започне да се бие със синовете на Амон? Той ще стане глава над всичките галаадски жители.
