Psalms 75

हे परमेश्वर, हम तेरी प्रशंसा करते हैं! हम तेरे नाम का गुणगान करते हैं! तू समीप है और लोग तेरे उन अद्भत कर्मो का जिनको तू करता है, बखान करते हैं।

Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

परमेश्वर, कहता है, “मैंने न्याय का समय चुन लिया, मैं निष्पक्ष होकर के न्याय करूँगा।

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

धरती और धरती की हर वस्तु डगमगा सकती है और गिरने को तैयार हो सकती है, किन्तु मैं ही उसे स्थिर रखता हूँ।

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

“कुछ लोग बहुत ही अभिमानी होते हैं, वे सोचते रहते है कि वे बहुत शाक्तिशाली और महत्वपूर्ण है।

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

लेकिन उन लोगों को बता दो, ‘डींग मत हाँकों!’ ‘इतने अभिमानी मत बने रह!’”

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

इस धरती पर सचुमच, कोई भी मनुष्य नीच को महान नहीं बना सकता।

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

परमेश्वर न्याय करता है। परमेश्वर इसका निर्णय करता है कि कौन व्यक्ति महान होगा। परमेश्वर ही किसी व्यक्ति को महत्वपूर्ण पद पर बिठाता है। और किसी दूसरे को निची दशा में पहुँचाता है।

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

परमेश्वर दुष्टों को दण्ड देने को तत्पर है। परमेश्वर के पास विष मिला हुआ मधु पात्र है। परमेश्वर इस दाखमधु (दण्ड) को उण्डेलता है और दुष्ट जन उसे अंतिम बूँद तक पीते हैं।

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

मैं लोगों से इन बातों का सदा बखान करूँगा। मैं इस्राएल के परमेश्वर के गुण गाऊँगा।

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

मैं दुष्ट लोगों की शक्ति को छीन लूँगा, और मैं सज्जनों को शक्ति दूँगा।

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
