Psalms 110

De David. Psaume. Parole de l'Eternel à mon Seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite, Jusqu'à ce que je fasse de tes ennemis ton marchepied.

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

L'Eternel étendra de Sion le sceptre de ta puissance: Domine au milieu de tes ennemis!

The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Ton peuple est plein d'ardeur, quand tu rassembles ton armée; Avec des ornements sacrés, du sein de l'aurore Ta jeunesse vient à toi comme une rosée.

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

L'Eternel l'a juré, et il ne s'en repentira point: Tu es sacrificateur pour toujours, A la manière de Melchisédek.

The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Le Seigneur, à ta droite, Brise des rois au jour de sa colère.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

Il exerce la justice parmi les nations: tout est plein de cadavres; Il brise des têtes sur toute l'étendue du pays.

He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

Il boit au torrent pendant la marche: C'est pourquoi il relève la tête.

He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
