Psalms 54

خدایا، با قدرت خود نجاتم بده و با نیروی خود آزادم کن.

Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

خدایا، دعای مرا بشنو و به سخنان من گوش بده،

Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

زیرا اشخاص مغرور علیه من برخاسته‌اند و مردمان ظالم قصد کشتن مرا دارند. آنان به خدا توجّه ندارند.

For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

امّا خدا مددکار من است و خداوند حافظ جان من می‌باشد.

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

او دشمنانم را به سزای گناهشان می‌رساند. به‌خاطر وفاداری خود، به زندگی آنها خاتمه خواهد داد.

He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

خداوندا، با کمال خوشی به پیشگاه تو قربانی تقدیم خواهم كرد. تو را سپاس خواهم گفت زیرا نیكو هستی.

I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

تو مرا از تمام مشکلاتم نجات داده‌ای، و من شکست دشمنانم را با چشمانم دیده‌ام.

For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
