Psalms 75

(По слав. 74) За първия певец. По музиката на Не унищожавай. Псалм на Асаф. Песен. Славословим Те, Боже, славословим! Името Ти е близо, проповядват се чудните Твои дела.

Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

Когато достигна определеното време, Аз ще съдя с правота.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

Разтопи се земята и всичките й жители; Аз утвърждавам стълбовете й. (Села.)

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

Казах на гордите: Не се гордейте! — и на безбожните: Не надигайте рог!

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

Не надигайте високо рога си, не говорете с корав врат!

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

Защото нито от изток, нито от запад, нито от юг идва извисяването;

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

а Бог е съдията — Той снижава този, а онзи въздига;

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

защото в ръката на ГОСПОДА има чаша с руйно, подправено вино, Той налива от нея. Да, и дрождите му трябва да изсърбат, трябва да изпият всичките безбожни на земята.

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

А аз — аз ще разгласявам до века, ще пея псалми на Бога на Яков.

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

И ще отсека всичките рогове на безбожните, а роговете на праведните ще се издигнат.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
