Matthew 16

Тогава фарисеите и садукеите дойдоха при Иисус и за да Го изпитат, поискаха от Него да им покаже знамение от небето.

The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

А Той в отговор им каза: Когато се свечери, казвате: Времето ще бъде хубаво, защото небето се червенее;

He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

а сутрин: Днес времето ще бъде лошо, защото небето се червенее намръщено. Вие знаете да прецените лицето на небето, а знаменията на времената не можете!

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Зъл и прелюбодеен род иска знамение, но друго знамение няма да му се даде, освен знамението на (пророк) Йона. И ги остави и си отиде.

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

А учениците, като минаха на другата страна, забравиха да вземат хляб.

And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

И Иисус им каза: Внимавайте и се пазете от кваса на фарисеите и садукеите!

Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

А те разискваха помежду си, като говореха: Това е, защото не сме взели хляб.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

Иисус, като разбра това, каза: Маловерци, защо разисквате помежду си, че нямате хляб?

Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?

Още ли не разбирате и не си ли спомняте петте хляба на петте хиляди души и колко коша събрахте;

Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

нито седемте хляба на четирите хиляди души и колко кошници събрахте?

Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

Как не разбирате, че не заради хляба ви казах да се пазите от кваса на фарисеите и садукеите?

How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

Тогава те разбраха, че не им заръча да се пазят от хлебния квас, а от учението на фарисеите и садукеите.

Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

А Иисус, като дойде в околностите на Кесария Филипова, попита учениците Си, като им каза: Какво казват хората, кой е Човешкият Син?

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

А те казаха: Едни казват, че е Йоан Кръстител; други пък – Илия; а други – Еремия или един от пророците.

And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

А Той им каза: А вие какво казвате, кой съм Аз?

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

Симон Петър в отговор каза: Ти си Христос, Синът на живия Бог.

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Иисус в отговор му каза: Блажен си, Симоне, сине Йонов, защото плът и кръв не са ти открили това, а Моят Отец, който е на небесата.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

А и Аз ти казвам, че ти си Петър и на тази канара ще съградя Своята църква; и портите на ада няма да й надделеят.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Ще ти дам ключовете на небесното царство и каквото вържеш на земята, ще бъде вързано на небесата, а каквото развържеш на земята, ще бъде развързано на небесата.

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Тогава заръча на учениците да не казват на никого, че Той е Христос.

Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

Оттогава Иисус започна да показва на учениците Си, че трябва да отиде в Ерусалим и много да пострада от старейшините, главните свещеници и книжниците, и да бъде убит, и на третия ден да бъде възкресен.

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Тогава Петър Го взе настрана и започна да Го мъмри, като казваше: Бог да е милостив към Теб, Господи; това никак няма да стане с Теб!

Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

А Той се обърна и каза на Петър: Махни се и иди зад Мен, Сатана! Ти си Ми съблазън, защото не мислиш за Божиите неща, а за човешките.

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Тогава Иисус каза на учениците Си: Ако някой иска да дойде след Мен, нека се отрече от себе си, нека вдигне кръста си и нека Ме следва.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Защото, който иска да спаси живота си, ще го изгуби; а който изгуби живота си заради Мен, ще го намери.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Понеже, какво ще се ползва човек, ако спечели целия свят, а изгуби живота си? Или какво ще даде човек в замяна на живота си?

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Защото Човешкият Син ще дойде в славата на Своя Отец със Своите ангели; и тогава ще отплати на всекиго според делата му.

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Истина ви казвам: има някои от стоящите тук, които никак няма да вкусят смърт, докато не видят Човешкия Син, идещ в царството Си.

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
