Genesis 47

И така, Йосиф влезе при фараона и му съобщи, като каза: Баща ми и братята ми, овцете им и говедата им, всичко, което имат, дойдоха от ханаанската земя и сега са в гесенската земя.

Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

И взе от братята си петима мъже и ги представи на фараона.

And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.

И фараонът каза на братята му: Какво е занятието ви? А те казаха на фараона: Слугите ти са овчари, и ние, и бащите ни.

And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.

И казаха на фараона: Дойдохме да поживеем като чужденци в тази земя, защото няма пасище за стадата на слугите ти, понеже гладът се засили в ханаанската земя. Затова, молим ти се, нека живеят слугите ти в гесенската земя.

They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

И фараонът говори на Йосиф, и каза: Баща ти и братята ти дойдоха при теб.

And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:

Египетската земя е пред теб, настани баща си и братята си в най-добрата част от земята, нека живеят в гесенската земя. И ако знаеш, че някои от тях са способни мъже, постави ги за надзиратели над моя добитък.

The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

След това Йосиф въведе баща си Яков и го представи на фараона, и Яков благослови фараона.

And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

И фараонът каза на Яков: Колко е броят на годините на живота ти?

And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?

И Яков каза на фараона: Броят на годините на странстването ми на земята е сто и тридесет години. Малко и зли са били дните на годините на живота ми и не достигат дните на годините на живота на бащите ми във времето на тяхното странстване.

And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

И като благослови фараона, Яков излезе от присъствието на фараона.

And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.

Тогава Йосиф настани баща си и братята си, като им даде владение в египетската земя, в най-добрата част от земята, в рамесийската земя, както заповяда фараонът.

And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

И Йосиф хранеше баща си, братята си и целия си бащин дом с хляб според броя на децата им.

And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father's household, with bread, according to their families.

А хляб нямаше по цялата земя, защото гладът беше много тежък и египетската земя и ханаанската земя изнемогваха от глад.

And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore, so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.

И Йосиф събра всичките пари, които се намираха в египетската и ханаанската земя, за житото, което купуваха. И Йосиф донесе парите във фараоновия дом.

And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.

И като се свършиха всичките пари в египетската земя и ханаанската земя, всичките египтяни дойдоха при Йосиф и казаха: Дай ни хляб! Защо да умираме пред теб, понеже се свършиха парите?

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

А Йосиф каза: Ако парите са се свършили, докарайте добитъка си, и ще ви дам хляб срещу добитъка ви.

And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

И така, докараха добитъка си на Йосиф; и Йосиф им даваше хляб срещу конете, овцете, говедата и магаретата им. И така, през онази година той ги нахрани с хляб срещу всичкия им добитък.

And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

И като измина онази година, дойдоха при него и втората година и му казаха: Няма да скрием от господаря си, че всичките пари свършиха и добитъкът стана собственост на господаря ни; не остана друго пред господаря ни освен телата ни и земята ни.

When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

Защо и ние да измрем пред очите ти, и земята ни да запустее? Купи нас и земята ни за хляб, и ние ще бъдем слуги на фараона, и земята ни за него ще ражда. Дай ни и семе, за да останем живи и да не умрем, и да не запустее земята.

Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.

И Йосиф купи за фараона цялата египетска земя, защото египтяните продаваха всеки нивата си, понеже гладът се засилваше над тях. Така земята стана собственост на фараона.

And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh's.

И той пресели народа в градовете от единия край до другия край на египетските области.

And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.

Само земята на жреците не купи, защото жреците имаха определен от фараона дял и се прехранваха от дела, който фараонът им даде, затова не продадоха земята си.

Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands.

Тогава Йосиф каза на народа: Ето, днес купих вас и земята ви за фараона. Ето ви семе, засейте земята.

Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land.

И във времето на плода ще давате петата част на фараона, а четирите части ще бъдат за вас — за да засеете нивите, и за храна за вас и за домашните ви, и за храна на децата ви.

And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.

И те казаха: Ти запази живота ни. Нека намерим благоволението на господаря си, и ще бъдем слуги на фараона.

And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.

И Йосиф постанови тази наредба в египетската земя, както е и до днес: да се дава петата част на фараона. Само единствено земята на жреците не стана собственост на фараона.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh's.

И Израил се засели в египетската земя, в гесенската земя, където придобиваха владения, бяха плодовити и много се умножиха.

And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

И Яков живя седемнадесет години в египетската земя, така че броят на годините на живота на Яков стана сто четиридесет и седем години.

And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.

А като наближи времето, когато Израил трябваше да умре, той повика сина си Йосиф и му каза: Ако съм намерил благоволение пред теб, сложи, моля те, ръката си под бедрото ми и ми се закълни, че ще ми окажеш тази милост и вярност: да не ме погребеш в Египет,

And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

а когато почина с бащите си, да ме пренесеш от Египет и да ме погребеш в тяхната гробница. А той каза: Ще направя, както си казал.

But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

И Яков каза: Закълни ми се! И той му се закле. Тогава Израил се поклони върху възглавницата на леглото.

And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.
