I Samuel 19

И Саул говори на сина си Йонатан и на всичките си слуги да се убие Давид. Но Йонатан, синът на Саул, беше много благоразположен към Давид.

And Saul spake to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David.

И Йонатан съобщи на Давид и каза: Баща ми Саул търси да те убие. Затова сега се пази до утре и стой на тайно място и се крий.

But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:

А аз ще изляза и ще застана при баща си на полето, където ще бъдеш ти, и ще говоря с баща си за теб, и ще видя как е работата, и ще ти кажа.

And I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where thou art, and I will commune with my father of thee; and what I see, that I will tell thee.

И Йонатан говори добро за Давид на баща си Саул и му каза: Нека не съгрешава царят против слугата си, против Давид, тъй като той не е съгрешил против теб и делата му са били много добри за теб.

And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee-ward very good:

Той изложи живота си на опасност и уби филистимеца и ГОСПОД извърши голямо избавление за целия Израил, и ти видя и се зарадва. Защо тогава искаш да съгрешиш против невинна кръв, като убиеш Давид без причина?

For he did put his life in his hand, and slew the Philistine, and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to slay David without a cause?

И Саул послуша гласа на Йонатан и Саул се закле: Жив е ГОСПОД — Давид няма да бъде убит!

And Saul hearkened unto the voice of Jonathan: and Saul sware, As the LORD liveth, he shall not be slain.

Тогава Йонатан повика Давид и Йонатан му разказа всички тези думи. И Йонатан доведе Давид при Саул и той беше в неговото присъствие както преди.

And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan shewed him all those things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as in times past.

И отново стана война. И Давид излезе и се би с филистимците, и им нанесе голямо поражение, и те побягнаха пред него.

And there was war again: and David went out, and fought with the Philistines, and slew them with a great slaughter; and they fled from him.

И зъл дух от ГОСПОДА беше върху Саул; и той седеше в къщата си с копието си в ръка, а Давид свиреше с ръка.

And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.

И Саул се опита да прикове Давид с копието на стената, но той се отклони от Саул, така че той заби копието в стената; а Давид избяга и се избави онази нощ.

And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul's presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.

Тогава Саул изпрати пратеници в дома на Давид, за да го пазят и да го убият на сутринта. А Михала, жена му, съобщи на Давид и каза: Ако не избавиш живота си тази нощ, утре ще бъдеш убит.

Saul also sent messengers unto David's house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David's wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life to night, to morrow thou shalt be slain.

И Михала спусна Давид през един прозорец и той отиде, и избяга, и се избави.

So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped.

А Михала взе домашния идол и го положи на леглото, и сложи при главата му възглавница от козина, и го покри със завивка.

And Michal took an image, and laid it in the bed, and put a pillow of goats' hair for his bolster, and covered it with a cloth.

И когато Саул изпрати пратеници да вземат Давид, тя каза: Болен е.

And when Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, He is sick.

Тогава Саул изпрати пратениците да видят Давид и каза: Донесете ми го на леглото, за да го убия!

And Saul sent the messengers again to see David, saying, Bring him up to me in the bed, that I may slay him.

И когато пратениците дойдоха, ето, домашният идол беше на леглото с възглавница от козина при главата му.

And when the messengers were come in, behold, there was an image in the bed, with a pillow of goats' hair for his bolster.

Тогава Саул каза на Михала: Ти защо ме излъга така и пусна врага ми, така че той се избави? А Михала каза на Саул: Той ми каза: Пусни ме! Защо да те убия?

And Saul said unto Michal, Why hast thou deceived me so, and sent away mine enemy, that he is escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He said unto me, Let me go; why should I kill thee?

Така Давид избяга и се избави, и дойде при Самуил в Рама, и му разказа всичко, което му беше сторил Саул. И той и Самуил отидоха и отседнаха в Навиот.

So David fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and dwelt in Naioth.

И съобщиха на Саул и казаха: Ето, Давид е в Навиот в Рама.

And it was told Saul, saying, Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah.

Тогава Саул изпрати пратеници да вземат Давид, но когато те видяха събранието на пророците, които пророкуваха, и Самуил да стои начело над тях, Божият Дух беше на пратениците на Саул и те също пророкуваха.

And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

И съобщиха на Саул и той изпрати други пратеници, и те също пророкуваха. И Саул пак изпрати трети пратеници, и те също пророкуваха.

And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also.

Тогава и той отиде в Рама и дойде при големия кладенец в Сокхо, и попита и каза: Къде са Самуил и Давид? И казаха: Ето, в Навиот в Рама.

Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah.

И отиде там, в Навиот в Рама, и Божият Дух беше и на него, и той вървеше и непрекъснато пророкуваше, докато стигна в Навиот в Рама.

And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.

И съблече горните си дрехи и пророкуваше и той пред Самуил, и лежеше гол през целия онзи ден и през цялата онази нощ. Затова казват: И Саул ли е между пророците?

And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?
