Ezekiel 35

Lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va được phán cùng ta rằng:

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Hỡi con người, hãy xây mặt hướng về núi Sê -i-rơ, và nói tiên tri nghịch cùng nó.

Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,

Hãy nói cùng nó rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Hỡi núi Sê -i-rơ, nầy, ta nghịch cùng mầy! Ta sẽ giá tay nghịch cùng mầy, làm cho mầy ra hoang vu và gở lạ.

And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.

Ta sẽ làm cho các thành của mầy ra đồng vắng, còn mầy sẽ trở nên hoang vu. Bấy giờ mầy sẽ biết ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va.

I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

Vì mầy cưu sự ghen ghét vô cùng, và đã phó con cái Y-sơ-ra-ên cho quyền gươm dao nơi ngày tai vạ chúng nó, trong kỳ gian ác về cuối cùng,

Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

vì cớ đó, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán: Thật như ta hằng sống, ta sẽ sắm sẵn mầy cho phải huyết, và huyết sẽ đuổi theo mầy. Vì mầy đã chẳng ghét huyết, nên huyết sẽ đuổi theo mầy!

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.

Vậy ta sẽ làm cho núi Sê -i-rơ gở lạ hoang vu, và hủy diệt cả người đi qua và người trở về.

Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.

Ta sẽ làm cho các núi nó đầy những kẻ bị giết của nó; những người bị gươm giết sẽ ngã xuống trên các đồi mầy, trong các trũng và giữa dòng mọi sông suối mầy.

And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

Ta sẽ làm cho mầy ra hoang vu đời đời; các thành mầy sẽ không có dân ở nữa, và bay sẽ biết ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va.

I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Vì mầy có nói rằng: Hai dân tộc ấy và hai nước ấy sẽ thuộc về ta, và chúng ta sẽ được nó làm kỷ vật, dầu Ðức Giê-hô-va dương ở đó;

Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:

nên Chúa Giê-hô-va phán: Thật như ta hằng sống, ta sẽ đãi mầy bằng cơn giận và sự ghét mà mầy đã bởi lòng ghen tương tỏ ra nghịch cùng chúng nó, và khi ta xét đoán mầy, ta sẽ tỏ mình ra giữa chúng nó.

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

Mầy sẽ biết ta, Ðức Giê-hô-va, đã nghe những lời sỉ nhục mầy đã nói ra nghịch cùng các núi Y-sơ-ra-ên, mà rằng: Các núi ấy đã bị làm nên hoang vu; đã phó cho ta để nuốt.

And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

Bay đã lấy miệng khoe mình nghịch cùng ta, và đã thêm những lời mình nghịch cùng ta. Thật, ta đã nghe điều đó!

Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.

Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Khi cả đất vui mừng, ta sẽ làm cho mầy nên hoang vu.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

Vì mầy đã lấy làm vui về sản nghiệp nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên bị hoang vu, nên ta đãi mầy cũng vậy. Hỡi núi Sê -i-rơ, mầy với cả Ê-đôm, tức cả xứ ấy, sẽ bị hoang vu, và chúng nó sẽ biết ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va.

As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
