Zechariah 12

ذیل میں رب کا اسرائیل کے لئے کلام ہے۔ رب جس نے آسمان کو خیمے کی طرح تان کر زمین کی بنیادیں رکھیں اور انسان کے اندر اُس کی روح کو تشکیل دیا وہ فرماتا ہے،

The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

”مَیں یروشلم کو گرد و نواح کی قوموں کے لئے شراب کا پیالہ بنا دوں گا جسے وہ پی کر لڑکھڑانے لگیں گی۔ یہوداہ بھی مصیبت میں آئے گا جب یروشلم کا محاصرہ کیا جائے گا۔

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

اُس دن دنیا کی تمام اقوام یروشلم کے خلاف جمع ہو جائیں گی۔ تب مَیں یروشلم کو ایک ایسا پتھر بناؤں گا جو کوئی نہیں اُٹھا سکے گا۔ جو بھی اُسے اُٹھا کر لے جانا چاہے وہ زخمی ہو جائے گا۔“

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

رب فرماتا ہے، ”اُس دن مَیں تمام گھوڑوں میں ابتری اور اُن کے سواروں میں دیوانگی پیدا کروں گا۔ مَیں دیگر اقوام کے تمام گھوڑوں کو اندھا کر دوں گا۔ ساتھ ساتھ مَیں کھلی آنکھوں سے یہوداہ کے گھرانے کی دیکھ بھال کروں گا۔

In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

تب یہوداہ کے خاندان دل میں کہیں گے، ’یروشلم کے باشندے اِس لئے ہمارے لئے قوت کا باعث ہیں کہ رب الافواج اُن کا خدا ہے۔‘

And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

اُس دن مَیں یہوداہ کے خاندانوں کو جلتے ہوئے کوئلے بنا دوں گا جو دشمن کی سوکھی لکڑی کو جلا دیں گے۔ وہ بھڑکتی ہوئی مشعل ہوں گے جو دشمن کی پُولوں کو بھسم کرے گی۔ اُن کے دائیں اور بائیں طرف جتنی بھی قومیں گرد و نواح میں رہتی ہیں وہ سب نذرِ آتش ہو جائیں گی۔ لیکن یروشلم اپنی ہی جگہ محفوظ رہے گا۔

In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

پہلے رب یہوداہ کے گھروں کو بچائے گا تاکہ داؤد کے گھرانے اور یروشلم کے باشندوں کی شان و شوکت یہوداہ سے بڑی نہ ہو۔

The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.

لیکن رب یروشلم کے باشندوں کو بھی پناہ دے گا۔ تب اُن میں سے کمزور آدمی داؤد جیسا سورما ہو گا جبکہ داؤد کا گھرانا خدا کی مانند، اُن کے آگے چلنے والے رب کے فرشتے کی مانند ہو گا۔

In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

اُس دن مَیں یروشلم پر حملہ آور تمام اقوام کو تباہ کرنے کے لئے نکلوں گا۔

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

مَیں داؤد کے گھرانے اور یروشلم کے باشندوں پر مہربانی اور التماس کا روح اُنڈیلوں گا۔ تب وہ مجھ پر نظر ڈالیں گے جسے اُنہوں نے چھیدا ہے، اور وہ اُس کے لئے ایسا ماتم کریں گے جیسے اپنے اکلوتے بیٹے کے لئے، اُس کے لئے ایسا شدید غم کھائیں گے جس طرح اپنے پہلوٹھے کے لئے۔

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

اُس دن لوگ یروشلم میں شدت سے ماتم کریں گے۔ ایسا ماتم ہو گا جیسا میدانِ مجِدّو میں ہدد رِمّون پر کیا جاتا تھا۔

In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

پورے کا پورا ملک واویلا کرے گا۔ تمام خاندان ایک دوسرے سے الگ اور تمام عورتیں دوسروں سے الگ آہ و بکا کریں گی۔ داؤد کا خاندان، ناتن کا خاندان، لاوی کا خاندان، سِمعی کا خاندان اور ملک کے باقی تمام خاندان الگ الگ ماتم کریں گے۔

And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

پورے کا پورا ملک واویلا کرے گا۔ تمام خاندان ایک دوسرے سے الگ اور تمام عورتیں دوسروں سے الگ آہ و بکا کریں گی۔ داؤد کا خاندان، ناتن کا خاندان، لاوی کا خاندان، سِمعی کا خاندان اور ملک کے باقی تمام خاندان الگ الگ ماتم کریں گے۔

The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;

پورے کا پورا ملک واویلا کرے گا۔ تمام خاندان ایک دوسرے سے الگ اور تمام عورتیں دوسروں سے الگ آہ و بکا کریں گی۔ داؤد کا خاندان، ناتن کا خاندان، لاوی کا خاندان، سِمعی کا خاندان اور ملک کے باقی تمام خاندان الگ الگ ماتم کریں گے۔

All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
