Psalms 70

Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

داؤد کا زبور۔ موسیقی کے راہنما کے لئے۔ یادداشت کے لئے۔ اے اللہ، جلدی سے آ کر مجھے بچا! اے رب، میری مدد کرنے میں جلدی کر!

Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

میرے جانی دشمن شرمندہ ہو جائیں، اُن کی سخت رُسوائی ہو جائے۔ جو میری مصیبت دیکھنے سے لطف اُٹھاتے ہیں وہ پیچھے ہٹ جائیں، اُن کا منہ کالا ہو جائے۔

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

جو میری مصیبت دیکھ کر قہقہہ لگاتے ہیں وہ شرم کے مارے پشت دکھائیں۔

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

لیکن تیرے طالب شادمان ہو کر تیری خوشی منائیں۔ جنہیں تیری نجات پیاری ہے وہ ہمیشہ کہیں، ”اللہ عظیم ہے!“

But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

لیکن مَیں ناچار اور محتاج ہوں۔ اے اللہ، جلدی سے میرے پاس آ! تُو ہی میرا سہارا اور میرا نجات دہندہ ہے۔ اے رب، دیر نہ کر!
