Isaiah 35

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

ریگستان اور پیاسی زمین باغ باغ ہوں گے، بیابان خوشی منا کر کِھل اُٹھے گا۔ اُس کے پھول سوسن کی طرح

It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

پھوٹ نکلیں گے، اور وہ زور سے شادیانہ بجا کر خوشی کے نعرے لگائے گا۔ اُسے لبنان کی شان، کرمل اور شارون کا پورا حُسن و جمال دیا جائے گا۔ لوگ رب کا جلال اور ہمارے خدا کی شان و شوکت دیکھیں گے۔

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

نڈھال ہاتھوں کو تقویت دو، ڈانواں ڈول گھٹنوں کو مضبوط کرو!

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

دھڑکتے ہوئے دلوں سے کہو، ”حوصلہ رکھو، مت ڈرو۔ دیکھو، تمہارا خدا انتقام لینے کے لئے آ رہا ہے۔ وہ ہر ایک کو جزا و سزا دے کر تمہیں بچانے کے لئے آ رہا ہے۔“

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

تب اندھوں کی آنکھوں کو اور بہروں کے کانوں کو کھولا جائے گا۔

Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

لنگڑے ہرن کی سی چھلانگیں لگائیں گے، اور گونگے خوشی کے نعرے لگائیں گے۔ ریگستان میں چشمے پھوٹ نکلیں گے، اور بیابان میں سے ندیاں گزریں گی۔

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

جُھلستی ہوئی ریت کی جگہ جوہڑ بنے گا، اور پیاسی زمین کی جگہ پانی کے سوتے پھوٹ نکلیں گے۔ جہاں پہلے گیدڑ آرام کرتے تھے وہاں ہری گھاس، سرکنڈے اور آبی نرسل کی نشو و نما ہو گی۔

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

ملک میں سے شاہراہ گزرے گی جو ’شاہراہِ مُقدّس‘ کہلائے گی۔ ناپاک لوگ اُس پر سفر نہیں کریں گے، کیونکہ وہ صحیح راہ پر چلنے والوں کے لئے مخصوص ہے۔ احمق اُس پر بھٹکنے نہیں پائیں گے۔

No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

اُس پر نہ شیرببر ہو گا، نہ کوئی اَور وحشی جانور آئے گا یا پایا جائے گا۔ صرف وہ اُس پر چلیں گے جنہیں اللہ نے عوضانہ دے کر چھڑا لیا ہے۔

And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

جتنوں کو رب نے فدیہ دے کر رِہا کیا ہے وہ واپس آئیں گے اور گیت گاتے ہوئے صیون میں داخل ہوں گے۔ اُن کے سر پر ابدی خوشی کا تاج ہو گا، اور وہ اِتنے مسرور اور شادمان ہوں گے کہ ماتم اور گریہ و زاری اُن کے آگے آگے بھاگ جائے گی۔
