Ezekiel 47

Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

اِس کے بعد میرا راہنما مجھے ایک بار پھر رب کے گھر کے دروازے کے پاس لے گیا۔ یہ دروازہ مشرق میں تھا، کیونکہ رب کے گھر کا رُخ ہی مشرق کی طرف تھا۔ مَیں نے دیکھا کہ دہلیز کے نیچے سے پانی نکل رہا ہے۔ دروازے سے نکل کر وہ پہلے رب کے گھر کی جنوبی دیوار کے ساتھ ساتھ بہتا تھا، پھر قربان گاہ کے جنوب میں سے گزر کر مشرق کی طرف بہہ نکلا۔

Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.

میرا راہنما میرے ساتھ بیرونی صحن کے شمالی دروازے میں سے نکلا۔ باہر چاردیواری کے ساتھ ساتھ چلتے چلتے ہم بیرونی صحن کے مشرقی دروازے کے پاس پہنچ گئے۔ مَیں نے دیکھا کہ پانی اِس دروازے کے جنوبی حصے میں سے نکل رہا ہے۔

And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

ہم پانی کے کنارے کنارے چل پڑے۔ میرے راہنما نے اپنے فیتے کے ساتھ آدھا کلو میٹر کا فاصلہ ناپا۔ پھر اُس نے مجھے پانی میں سے گزرنے کو کہا۔ یہاں پانی ٹخنوں تک پہنچتا تھا۔

Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

اُس نے مزید آدھے کلو میٹر کا فاصلہ ناپا، پھر مجھے دوبارہ پانی میں سے گزرنے کو کہا۔ اب پانی گھٹنوں تک پہنچا۔ جب اُس نے تیسری مرتبہ آدھا کلو میٹر کا فاصلہ ناپ کر مجھے اُس میں سے گزرنے دیا تو پانی کمر تک پہنچا۔

Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

ایک آخری دفعہ اُس نے آدھے کلو میٹر کا فاصلہ ناپا۔ اب مَیں پانی میں سے گزر نہ سکا۔ پانی اِتنا گہرا تھا کہ اُس میں سے گزرنے کے لئے تیرنے کی ضرورت تھی۔

And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.

اُس نے مجھ سے پوچھا، ”اے آدم زاد، کیا تُو نے غور کیا ہے؟“ پھر وہ مجھے دریا کے کنارے تک واپس لایا۔

Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

جب واپس آیا تو مَیں نے دیکھا کہ دریا کے دونوں کناروں پر متعدد درخت لگے ہیں۔

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

وہ بولا، ”یہ پانی مشرق کی طرف بہہ کر وادیِ یردن میں پہنچتا ہے۔ اُسے پار کر کے وہ بحیرۂ مُردار میں آ جاتا ہے۔ اُس کے اثر سے بحیرۂ مُردار کا نمکین پانی پینے کے قابل ہو جائے گا۔

And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

جہاں بھی دریا بہے گا وہاں کے بےشمار جاندار جیتے رہیں گے۔ بہت مچھلیاں ہوں گی، اور دریا بحیرۂ مُردار کا نمکین پانی پینے کے قابل بنائے گا۔ جہاں سے بھی گزرے گا وہاں سب کچھ پھلتا پھولتا رہے گا۔

And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from En–gedi even unto En–eglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.

عین جدی سے لے کر عین عجلیم تک اُس کے کناروں پر مچھیرے کھڑے ہوں گے۔ ہر طرف اُن کے جال سوکھنے کے لئے پھیلائے ہوئے نظر آئیں گے۔ دریا میں ہر قسم کی مچھلیاں ہوں گی، اُتنی جتنی بحیرۂ روم میں پائی جاتی ہیں۔

But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

صرف بحیرۂ مُردار کے ارد گرد کی دلدلی جگہوں اور جوہڑوں کا پانی نمکین رہے گا، کیونکہ وہ نمک حاصل کرنے کے لئے استعمال ہو گا۔

And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

دریا کے دونوں کناروں پر ہر قسم کے پھل دار درخت اُگیں گے۔ اِن درختوں کے پتے نہ کبھی مُرجھائیں گے، نہ کبھی اُن کا پھل ختم ہو گا۔ وہ ہر مہینے پھل لائیں گے، اِس لئے کہ مقدِس کا پانی اُن کی آب پاشی کرتا رہے گا۔ اُن کا پھل لوگوں کی خوراک بنے گا، اور اُن کے پتے شفا دیں گے۔“

Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.

پھر رب قادرِ مطلق نے فرمایا، ”مَیں تجھے اُس ملک کی سرحدیں بتاتا ہوں جو بارہ قبیلوں میں تقسیم کرنا ہے۔ یوسف کو دو حصے دینے ہیں، باقی قبیلوں کو ایک ایک حصہ۔

And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.

مَیں نے اپنا ہاتھ اُٹھا کر قَسم کھائی تھی کہ مَیں یہ ملک تمہارے باپ دادا کو عطا کروں گا، اِس لئے تم یہ ملک میراث میں پاؤ گے۔ اب اُسے آپس میں برابر تقسیم کر لو۔

And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;

شمالی سرحد بحیرۂ روم سے شروع ہو کر مشرق کی طرف حتلون، لبو حمات اور صداد کے پاس سے گزرتی ہے۔

Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar–hatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran.

وہاں سے وہ بیروتا اور سبریم کے پاس پہنچتی ہے (سبریم ملکِ دمشق اور ملکِ حمات کے درمیان واقع ہے)۔ پھر سرحد حصر عینان شہر تک آگے نکلتی ہے جو حوران کی سرحد پر واقع ہے۔

And the border from the sea shall be Hazar–enan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.

غرض شمالی سرحد بحیرۂ روم سے لے کر حصر عینان تک پہنچتی ہے۔ دمشق اور حمات کی سرحدیں اُس کے شمال میں ہیں۔

And the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side.

ملک کی مشرقی سرحد وہاں شروع ہوتی ہے جہاں دمشق کا علاقہ حوران کے پہاڑی علاقے سے ملتا ہے۔ وہاں سے سرحد دریائے یردن کے ساتھ ساتھ چلتی ہوئی جنوب میں بحیرۂ روم کے پاس تمر شہر تک پہنچتی ہے۔ یوں دریائے یردن ملکِ اسرائیل کی مشرقی سرحد اور ملکِ جِلعاد کی مغربی سرحد ہے۔

And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.

جنوبی سرحد تمر سے شروع ہو کر جنوب مغرب کی طرف چلتی چلتی مریبہ قادس کے چشموں تک پہنچتی ہے۔ پھر وہ شمال مغرب کی طرف رُخ کر کے مصر کی سرحد یعنی وادیِ مصر کے ساتھ ساتھ بحیرۂ روم تک پہنچتی ہے۔

The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side.

مغربی سرحد بحیرۂ روم ہے جو شمال میں لبو حمات کے مقابل ختم ہوتی ہے۔

So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.

ملک کو اپنے قبیلوں میں تقسیم کرو!

And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

یہ تمہاری موروثی زمین ہو گی۔ جب تم قرعہ ڈال کر اُسے آپس میں تقسیم کرو تو اُن غیرملکیوں کو بھی زمین ملنی ہے جو تمہارے درمیان رہتے اور جن کے بچے یہاں پیدا ہوئے ہیں۔ تمہارا اُن کے ساتھ ویسا سلوک ہو جیسا اسرائیلیوں کے ساتھ۔ قرعہ ڈالتے وقت اُنہیں اسرائیلی قبیلوں کے ساتھ زمین ملنی ہے۔

And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ جس قبیلے میں بھی پردیسی آباد ہوں وہاں تمہیں اُنہیں موروثی زمین دینی ہے۔
