Isaiah 16

Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.

Αποστειλατε το αρνιον προς τον αρχοντα της γης, απο Σελα εν τη ερημω προς το ορος της θυγατρος της Σιων.

For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

Διοτι ως πτηνον πλανωμενον, απο της φωλεας αυτου δεδιωγμενον, ουτως αι θυγατερες του Μωαβ θελουσιν εισθαι κατα τας διαβασεις του Αρνων.

Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.

Βουλευου, εκτελεσον το δικαιον εν τω μεσω της ημερας καμε την σκιαν σου ως νυκτα κρυψον τους διωκομενους μη φανερωσης τον περιπλανωμενον.

Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

Οι δεδιωγμενοι μου ας παροικησωσι παρα σοι, Μωαβ γενου εις αυτους σκεπη απο προσωπου του πορθητου διοτι ο αρπακτηρ ετελειωσεν, ο πορθητης επαυσεν, οι καταδυνασται εξωλοθρευθησαν απο της γης.

And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

Και μετα ελεους θελει συσταθη ο θρονος, και επ αυτον θελει καθησει εν αληθεια, εν τη σκηνη του Δαβιδ, ο κρινων και εκζητων κρισιν και σπευδων δικαιοσυνην.

We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.

Ηκουσαμεν την υπερηφανιαν του Μωαβ, ειναι λιαν υπερηφανος την υψηλοφροσυνην αυτου και την αλαζονειαν αυτου και την μανιαν αυτου τα ψευδη αυτου θελουσι ματαιωθη.

Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kir–hareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken.

Δια τουτο ο Μωαβ θελει ολολυξει παντες θελουσιν ολολυξει δια τον Μωαβ θελετε θρηνολογησει δια τα θεμελια της Κιρ−αρεσεθ εκτυπηθησαν βεβαιως.

For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.

Διοτι αι πεδιαδες της Εσεβων ειναι ητονημεναι και η αμπελος της Σιβμα οι κυριοι των εθνων κατεσυντριψαν τα καλητερα αυτης φυτα, τα οποια ηρχοντο εως της Ιαζηρ, και περιεπλανωντο δια της ερημου οι κλαδοι αυτης ησαν εξηπλωμενοι, διεβαινον την θαλασσαν.

Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.

Δια τουτο μετα κλαυθμου της Ιαζηρ θελω κλαυσει την αμπελον της Σιβμα θελω σε βρεξει με τα δακρυα μου, Εσεβων και Ελεαλη διοτι επι τους θερινους καρπους σου και επι τον θερισμον σου επεπεσεν αλαλαγμος.

And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.

Και αφηρεθη η ευφροσυνη και η αγαλλιασις απο της καρποφορου πεδιαδος και εις τους αμπελωνας σου δεν θελουσιν εισθαι πλεον ασματα ουδε φωναι αγαλλιασεως οι ληνοπαται δεν θελουσι πατει οινον εν τοις ληνοις εγω κατεπαυσα τον αλαλαγμον του τρυγητου.

Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir–haresh.

Οθεν τα εντοσθια μου θελουσιν ηχησει ως κιθαρα δια τον Μωαβ, και τα εσωτερικα μου δια την Κιρ−αρες.

And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.

Και ο Μωαβ, οταν φανη οτι απεκαμεν επι τους βωμους αυτου, θελει εισελθει εις το αγιαστηριον αυτου δια να προσευχηθη πλην δεν θελει επιτυχει.

This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.

Ουτος ειναι ο λογος, τον οποιον εκτοτε ελαλησε Κυριος περι του Μωαβ.

But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.

Τωρα δε ο Κυριος ελαλησε λεγων, Εις τρια ετη, ως ειναι τα ετη του μισθωτου, η δοξα του Μωαβ θελει καταφρονηθη μεθ ολου του μεγαλου πληθους αυτου και το υπολοιπον θελει εισθαι πολυ ολιγον και αδυνατον.
