Job 42

Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

Тогава Йов отговори на ГОСПОДА и каза:

I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

Зная, че Ти можеш всичко и нито едно Твое намерение не може да бъде възпрепятствано.

Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

Ти попита кой е този, който скрива съвет без знание. И така, аз говорих това, което не разбирах — неща твърде чудни за мен, които не познавах.

Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

Слушай, моля Те, и аз ще говоря. Аз ще Те питам, а ти ме поучавай.

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

Слушал бях за Теб със слушането на ухото, но сега окото ми Те вижда.

Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

Затова се гнуся от себе си и се кая в пръст и пепел.

And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

И след като ГОСПОД изговори тези думи на Йов, ГОСПОД каза на теманеца Елифаз: Гневът ми пламна против теб и против двамата ти приятели, защото не говорихте за Мен това, което е право, както слугата Ми Йов.

Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

Затова сега си вземете седем бика и седем овена и идете при слугата Ми Йов, и принесете всеизгаряне за себе си. И слугата ми Йов ще се помоли за вас, защото него ще приема, за да не постъпя с вас според безумието ви, защото не говорихте за Мен това, което е право, както слугата Ми Йов.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

Така теманецът Елифаз и шуахецът Валдад, и нааматецът Софар отидоха и направиха, както им заповяда ГОСПОД; и ГОСПОД прие Йов.

And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

И ГОСПОД обърна участта на Йов, когато той се помоли за приятелите си. И ГОСПОД даде на Йов двойното на това, което имаше преди.

Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

Тогава при него дойдоха всичките му братя и всичките му сестри, и всичките му предишни познати и ядоха хляб с него в къщата му, и му съчувстваха, и го успокоиха за цялото зло, което ГОСПОД беше докарал върху него. И всеки му даде по една кесита и всеки — по една златна халка.

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

И ГОСПОД благослови последните дни на Йов повече от първите му дни; и той придоби четиринадесет хиляди глави дребен добитък и шест хиляди камили, и хиляда чифта волове, и хиляда магарици.

He had also seven sons and three daughters.

И му се родиха и седем сина и три дъщери.

And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren–happuch.

И първата дъщеря нарече Емима, а втората — Касия, а третата — Керен-Апух.

And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

И по цялата земя не се намираха толкова красиви жени като дъщерите на Йов; и баща им им даде наследство между братята им.

After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.

След това Йов живя сто и четиридесет години и видя синовете си и синовете на синовете си до четири поколения.

So Job died, being old and full of days.

Така Йов умря стар и сит на дни.
